This is a big ask. It's not often that we come across a bonded pair of dogs. But here's the deal: senior pups Nadia and Chappo have been together their entire lives and are looking for a new home. We can't break them up; they are BEST FRIENDS!!!

Before you start judging anyone or slinging negative comments, stop it. Their former owner(family) did what they thought was best for these two. They are in excellent hands, getting all the care they need, including senior bloodwork, dental care, and all sorts of love and treats while they keep an eye out for a new pup-lovin' family!

💔 We are drowning in vet bills 💔

In the past MONTH we have spent $10,033 in JUST vet bills 😭

Cat ear surgery, dog and cat spay/neuters, TNR’s, sick cats…the list goes on 😢

We have 3 kitties and 1 dog getting fixed as we speak. The vet bills never end! We can’t help them without your help ❤️

Here are some of the faces of our beloved dogs that are available to adopt into amazing homes right now!!!
We understand that some people may not want to apply to adopt a dog and you may find it intrusive, but we do it with a reason. Every soul that comes into The Minnis Sanctuary is loved, deeply! We care what their futures look like and not every person is able and willing to make sure that they get healthcare and spoiled to the point of forgetting things they’ve gone through.
We have a whole community here of people unable to adopt or foster, but are rooting for these babies, and celebrating along with us when they get adopted and find their forever homes! We need you folks EXTRA right now, because these lovebugs are so very deserving of being adopted and for whatever reasons, they are still here waiting. So whip out those fast thumbs, and get ready to share this post to help us(heck to help them)find their people!

🐾 FOSTERS NEEDED! 🐾

We have some very special dogs making their way to Maine over the next few weeks — but they can’t make the journey without somewhere safe to land. 🤍

Fostering is temporary, but the impact is forever. You give a dog a safe place to decompress, experience being part of a family, and get ready for their forever home. We provide the supplies and support — you provide the love.

Several of our upcoming pups already have fosters waiting for them (THANK YOU! 🥹), but many are still looking for theirs.
