🚨🚨Adoptable kittens alert!🚨🚨 Is your family looking to add two little furry pals to your home? We've got just the pair for you!

Meet Grayson & Nugget! 🐾🧡

These adorable 4-month-old siblings started life outdoors as street kittens, living under a shed and unsure about people. With patience, love, and gentle socialization (and lots of treats!) they’ve both blossomed in sweet kittens who enjoy pets from their humans.

Grayson (the gray one) is a gentle, playful, and very affectionate guy who can’t get enough pets. He loves his cat tree, catnip toys, cardboard boxes, and Bonkers catnip treats—and his cutest trick is jumping right into your hand when he wants more attention!

Nugget (the tabby and white) is his confident little sister and the self-appointed leader of her litter. She started out as the “spicy” one, greeting people with tiny hisses and keeping her distance, but she’s now enjoying pets, being picked up, and making progress every day. She’s still learning to trust, but her sweet personality is shining through more and more.

These two share a very special bond and are looking for their forever home together. They both fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped and ready to go!

Punch & Purrs is back by popular demand! Our amazing pals at Baltimore Spirits Company are hosting us for another adoption event and fundraiser on Sunday, August 16th 1-4pm.

We're bringing some of our adoptable cats and kittens, and BSC is mixing up a special kitty cocktail that will benefit FRA's lifesaving work with Baltimore's cats and kittens.

💔 Mr. Smoke Needs Your Help… Again 💔

When we rescued Mr. Smoke from one of our Park Heights colonies in January 2025 he was fighting for his life.

This sweet gray-and-white tuxedo boy was suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection and large polyps growing in his throat and ear. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and Show Your Soft Side, he underwent life-saving surgery and finally got the chance to start feeling better.

But Mr. Smoke’s journey wasn’t over.

The polyp in his ear returned, requiring a second surgery in April 2026. We were hopeful that aggressive treatment for a lingering ear infection would prevent further complications. Dr. McMichael wanted to get the infection under control before referring him to a specialist, noting that there was no obvious regrowth at the time.

Unfortunately, at his follow-up appointment, our fears were confirmed—the polyp is growing back through his eardrum yet again.

The next step may be a specialized procedure called a Ventral Bulla Osteotomy (VBO), a surgery that removes diseased tissue deep within the middle ear to stop these painful polyps from returning.

Mr. Smoke is only 4 years old. He is happy, affectionate, resilient, and has so much life ahead of him. After everything he’s endured, he deserves the chance to live a healthy, pain-free life and finally find the forever home he’s been waiting for.

At Feline Rescue Association, we don’t adopt out cats until they’re healthy and ready for their new families. That means providing not only routine veterinary care, but also necessary surgeries like this one when they are needed. We believe every cat deserves the best possible quality of life before finding a forever home—but these procedures come at a significant cost!!

We’re asking for your help to cover the cost of Mr. Smoke’s surgery so he can finally put this painful chapter behind him.
