🐾 Shelter Smart Saturday! 🐾
Did you know we’ve partnered with Hill’s Science Diet? 🐶🐱

All the animals in our building are fed a consistent diet to help minimize gastrointestinal (GI) upset and keep their tummies happy! ❤️

We understand that Hill’s may not be the right fit for every family’s budget or feeding preferences, and that’s okay! That’s why we send home a sample bag of the food our animals have been eating with every adoption. This helps families gradually transition their new family member to a different food if needed, reducing the chances of tummy troubles during an already big adjustment. 🏡🐾

A little consistency can go a long way! We want every animal to have the smoothest transition possible from shelter life to their forever home. 💕

❤️🐾 PIT BULL AWARENESS: MEET BONES JONES! 🐾❤️

Pit Bulls deserve more than stereotypes. They deserve a chance to show the world who they really are! ❤️🐶

Meet Bones Jones, a 5-year-old, 51-pound Pit Bull mix who has already overcome more than any dog should have to endure.

Bones came to us as a stray with painful facial injuries, including lacerations to his lip and mouth and a ruptured blood vessel in his eye. 😢 But despite everything he had been through, this sweet boy continued to show love and trust.

Today, Bones is HEALED and READY for his forever home! 🎉❤️

🐾 Let's talk Pit Bull awareness! 🐾

Behind the labels and stereotypes are individual dogs with their own personalities, needs, and hearts. Bones is a reminder that a dog's past doesn't define his future. He deserves to be known for who he is, not what people assume about his breed.

❤️ Bones' adoption wish list:
🐶 Pit Bull mix, 5 years old
⚖️ 51 pounds of love
💉 Fully vetted
🏡 Would do best as the only pet

Bones is looking for someone who will give him what every dog deserves: love, safety, full meals, cozy beds, and a family who will never give up on him. He has been through enough. Now it's his turn to be someone's beloved companion! 🥹💕

Help us spread awareness, challenge stereotypes, and share Bones' story! His forever family could be just one share away. 🐾
