Our mission is “To work as one in helping animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance, while also supporting the people who love animals.” We are a 501(c)(3) mostly volunteer, no-kill rescue.

🍫🐾 Meet Floppy! 🐾🍫

Floppy is a sweet Chocolate Retriever mix, born in June 2024, and he’s ready to find a patient family who will help him come out of his shell. ❤️

Floppy is fully vetted and currently in foster, we’re learning more about this gentle, timid boy.

🐶 Good with other dogs
🐱 Previous owner reported no to cats
👧 Small children seem to make him nervous. He is not aggressive, but he can be very unsure around little ones. (Ex: He wont come inside if the 3 year old is near the door.)
🏠 He has done well being left loose in the living room during the day—as long as tempting chewable items are put away!
🦷 He is a chewer and will counter-surf if food is left within reach.
🏡 He does not do well in pop-up kennels and would likely need a sturdy plastic or more durable crate.

Floppy is a very docile and timid dog who will need an adopter willing to give him time, patience, and reassurance. He may not be the dog who runs up and immediately asks for attention—but with the right person, we believe he can blossom into an amazing companion. 🥹❤️

If you’re looking for a gentle dog and have the patience to let him gain confidence at his own pace, Floppy may be your perfect match.

🐾 SAFE & AT THE RESCUE CENTER! ❤️

We are very thankful this pup was safely caught today and brought into our rescue center.

A huge thank you to the community member who stepped up, helped catch him, and made sure he got to us safely. Because of their help, he is now out of the heat, safe, and being cared for while we work to hopefully reunite him with his owners.

This is a great reminder that when an animal is loose or in need, taking action and working together can make all the difference. We appreciate those who are willing to step up and help. Being a keyboard warrior does not get an animal to safety - working together does.

Now, let’s get this sweet boy back home where he belongs! 🐶❤️🏡

This coming week and weekend 9/8-9/12 we are going to be VERY short on our amazing daily dog walkers. Almost all of our regular walkers will be gone, which means our pups are going to need some extra helping hands! 🥺🐶

If you’ve ever thought about volunteering at the shelter, THIS is the perfect time to come out! ❤️ Dog walking is a fabulous way to get some exercise, spend some time outside, and most importantly… get some much-needed snuggles with some furry friends! 🐕‍🦺🥰

Our dogs absolutely LOVE getting out of their kennels for some fresh air, walks, attention, and one-on-one time with people. Even a little bit of your time can make a HUGE difference in their day. 🐾

✅ Tue, Thur, Fri: 12 PM – 5 PM
✅ Wed: 12pm - 7pm
✅ Saturday: 10 AM – 5 PM
🛑 Sunday–Monday: Closed

‼️ Please note: Anyone younger than 14 is not allowed to volunteer.
14-15 year old's must have an adult present.
16-17 year old's can volunteer without adult supervision.
Everyone under 18 must have their parent/guardian sign a permission slip/waiver to volunteer

🏔️ Meet Rocky Mountain! 🐾❤️

Rocky Mountain came to us on June 22, 2026, with a painful limp. After X-rays, we learned this sweet boy needed an FHO (femoral head ostectomy).

An FHO is a surgery where the damaged ball-shaped head of the femur is removed from the hip joint. This eliminates painful bone-on-bone contact and allows the body to form a comfortable “false joint,” giving the pet the chance to walk, play, and live pain-free. 🥰
We are extremely grateful to Dr. Rexing for taking care of Rocky and giving him the second chance he deserved. ❤️

Rocky is now fully vetted and ready to find his forever home! He is a 4.5-month-old male white-and-brown tabby and is said to do well with both dogs and cats. 🐱🐶

After everything this little guy has been through, he’s ready for the best chapter yet. Could you be Rocky’s forever family? 🏡💕

This handsome 2-year-old Red Heeler mix weighs 45 pounds and is looking for his forever home! ❤️ Lonestar is said to be housebroken and would do best as the only dog in the home so he can have all the love and attention to himself. 🏡
