🎁 Wishlist Wednesday 🎁

This week, our biggest needs are items that help make life a little more comfortable for the cats and dogs in our care while they wait for their forever homes. 🐾❤️

Some of our most-needed items include:
🐶 Canned dog food
🐱 Canned cat food
🦮 Leashes for daily walks
💊 Pill pockets
🧹 P**p scrapers/scoops
🛏️ Cat blankets and cozy bedding

Donations can be dropped off at 2620 Highway 81 during business hours.

Monetary donations can be made through Venmo: (Business Profile) and help us purchase supplies as needed.

You can also support us by purchasing items directly from our wishlists and having them shipped to the shelter.

🚨 Fosters & Adopters Needed! 🚨

Today alone, we took in 27 animals, most of them moms with kittens. While we're grateful to be able to help, we urgently need foster homes to give these families a safe, quiet place to stay while they receive the care and vetting they need.

Do you have a spare bathroom, laundry room, or small extra space? That's often all it takes to save lives. These moms and babies would love a temporary place to call home for the next few weeks until they're ready for adoption.

Fostering supplies can be provided, and our team is here to support you every step of the way. ❤️

This handsome Labrador mix is just 1 year and 2 months old and weighs 82 pounds of pure love. Ernesto came to us as a stray, and sadly, no one ever came looking for him. While his past may be uncertain, we're determined to help him find the bright future he deserves.

Ernesto is a friendly, affectionate boy who loves being around people. Whether he's soaking up attention, going for a walk, or simply relaxing by your side, he's happiest when he's with his humans. He also does well with other dogs and could make a wonderful companion for a family with a canine friend. He has not yet been cat tested.

After spending months waiting for his chance, Ernesto is more than ready to trade shelter life for a loving home. Could you be the one he's been waiting for? 🏡❤️

At just 1 year and 2 months old, Oreo Pie weighs around 34 pounds, making her the perfect medium-sized companion. This adorable girl has a gentle personality and is still discovering the world as she grows into adulthood.

🐾 Good with other dogs
🐾 Fully vetted
🐾 Ready for a family of her own

Oreo Pie already has great manners and is housebroken, which will make her transition into a new home much easier. She enjoys the company of other dogs and could do well with a canine sibling.

🐱 We're not sure how she feels about cats, but she can be cat tested upon request.

👧 Her history with children is unknown, so slow introductions and patience will help set everyone up for success.

Like many young dogs, Oreo Pie is full of curiosity and has plenty of potential. With love, consistency, and guidance, she's sure to blossom into an amazing lifelong companion.

🐱✂️ TNR Tuesday ✂️🐱

Our Community Cat Coordinator and her dedicated team were hard at work over the weekend helping local community cats!

With the assistance of colony feeders and caregivers, they successfully trapped cats from 3 different colonies at 3 separate locations. Yesterday, 29 cats were spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and even more will be receiving services today. 🎉

Every cat altered helps prevent future litters, improves the cats' health, and reduces the number of homeless animals in our community. Thank you to everyone who helps care for community cats and makes this important work possible! ❤️
