Working here at Wills Animal Hospital, our Veterinary Technicians play a huge role in how our days flow. Our techs are not just your pets nurse. Not only do they obtain your pets medical history, they collect specimens and perform laboratory procedures, provide specialized nursing care, and perform diagnostic diagnostic and medical procedures.
They also assist in surgical procedures, prepare animals, instruments, and equipment for surgery, administer and monitor anesthesia and perform dental cleanings. The list doesn't end here... they also educate clients (you guys) and supervise different areas of the hospital. Obviously, you can tell that fitting every single role into a picture is nearly impossible. This is why we are so thankful for all of our techs!
