🍂 Happy Fall Break from Paws and Claws! 🍁

We are looking forward to seeing you and your pets throughout the next week! With so many pets arriving for the holiday break, check-in will be extra busy.

Please help us speed up the process by having your vaccine records and boarding agreements ready in hand (if they have not been turned in yet). We will also ask a few brief check-in questions to ensure your pet has the absolute best care during their stay.

Thank you for your patience as we welcome everyone! Have a wonderful Fall Break knowing your pets are in good hands, cozy, and having fun. 🐶🐱✨

Treat your pup to a bath in between their full grooming sessions! 🐶✨

Over time, dirt, excess oil, and loose fur build up on your dog's coat, which can cause itching, matting, or that uninvited "doggy smell." A refresh bath gives your pup a thorough coat cleanup, deep skin hydration, and a blowout to shed dead fur—keeping them fresh, comfortable, and feeling great without needing a full haircut.

Why book a mid-cycle splash?

Odor Control: Flushes out trapped dirt, moisture, and stale oils.

Shedding Relief: Removes loose undercoat before it ends up on your furniture.

Coat & Skin Health: Keeps hair follicles clean and prevents minor tangles from turning into mats.

Keep your best friend looking and smelling their best all month long! Call or send us a message today to lock in a bath spot. 🛁✨

🐾 Wednesday Shelter Glow-Up! ✨

It’s everyone’s favorite day of the week here at Paws and Claws! Every Wednesday, we proudly open our doors to pick up a special shelter dog and treat them to a complimentary spa day. Our goal is to get them feeling refreshed, looking spiffy, and ready to catch the eye of their future forever family!

This week we have two dogs that we are currently fostering here at Paws And Claws. We wanted to get them spiffy to help them greet new families that are interested in them.

Blitz is an 8 month old hound mix with the prettiest blue eyes. A sweet boy with a lot of energy and love for everybody.

Luka is the happiest pup! All he wants to do is hug you. He also has an incredibly beautiful color of coat - it is stunning.

If you’re interested in learning more about either one of these pups, please visit Daviess County It Takes A Village No-Kill Rescue to learn more.

One of our customers has launched the The Paw Pantry - Owensboro, Kentucky

Labor of love for pets in our community. ❤️🐕🐾🐈❤️

Feel free to check it out if you are in need or if you would like to make a donation. Be sure to follow on Facebook.😉

🐾 THE PAW PANTRY is officially open.

A community supported pet pantry providing short term help for families who need it.

🐶 Dog food
🐱 Cat food
🦴 Treats
🧺 Cat litter

Take a bag if your pet needs one. ❤️

The stock isn’t endless... it relies on community support. Please take what you need, but don’t empty the box. Taking more than you need could mean another pet doesn’t get fed.

To help stretch donations, larger bags of food are separated into smaller portions so we can help as many pets as possible.

📹 The pantry is located on private property. It's camera monitored for safety & accountability.
📍 Address: 3041 Yosemite Dr. Owensboro, KY 42301

🐾 Food/treat/litter donations: any donations that fit can be placed directly in the pantry.
A patio box will also be available (Tuesday 9/29) in the driveway for larger donations that don’t fit inside the pantry. (In the meantime, please put them near my door verses leaving on the curb.)

Every bag, can, dollar, and share helps keep the shelves stocked.
Sometimes a little help is all a family needs to keep their pets fed. ♥️
