Well Oliver has had a big experience today getting to know the Friday Pack. He is a bit of a shy boy but he is trying hard to fit in. He is having a little trouble reading dog behavior which I am helping him with. He doesn’t quite read what they are telling him whether it is let’s play or stay away so he has been reprimanded by the 2 top dogs Burrito and Dempsey. They are NOT leaders by any stretch of the imagination😂 but hey have seniority and they take advantage of that. Of course I step in whenever needed. Burrito wants to reprimand him for just being alive🤪 But I stop him. All the other boys have no issues with with him with the exception of a rare reprimand from Dempsey. Dash likes him just fine, Archie wants to play but they’re not there yet, Callie is good with him, Kylo is just glad to be back with his friends 👏so he doesn’t care what the dynamics are today. Copper is a girl and still a baby so no problems there, Simon isn’t fond of him but doesn’t cause any problems, Minnie really doesn’t like him but she is a Princess so I think thst speaks for itself😆. All in all I think Oliver has had a successful first introduction. He will be back next Friday and I am certain he will learn more then and do well. I think it is safe to officially welcome Oliver to the Pack👍🐾👏🐾

It’s going to be a very busy day ! Kylo has rejoined the Pack and is very happy and excited to once again be with his friends. There has been a TON of play already this morning. Simon, Minnie and Copper who are Thursday Pack members are with us today. our regular Friday Pack , Burrito, Dempsey, Dash, Callie and Archie are here. The BIG news is that Oliver aka Ollie ( I’ll be referring to him as Oliver since we already have and Ollie) is coming for a screening today. He lives with Steve and Teresa who had Finn and Sydney. He is a pup so the Pack will be very good for him. I’m hoping he and Archie will become friends so they can play together. Archie is 1.5 years old and still has a lot of puppy energy. Oliver will join the Friday Pack for a few weeks and then I will introduce him to the Tuesday Pack and then the Thursday Pack. It’s important for a new member to be introduced to all the Packs so when they are here for extended care they know everyone. I’ll keep you updated in our very busy day! Our pack member Stella is having extensive dental surgery today. She came from a breeder who didn't think good health care was important and now she has to pay the consequences of that poor care. But she has AMAZING humans who take perfect care of her and make sure she has everything she needs and wants. Please keep Miss Stella in your thoughts today. Thank you

Olive 🫒 is a female Pug who went missing from her home in Waterville, MN when the fence gate was left open by a maintenance person. If you see her, please do not chase, shout out, or follow her. Just ignore her and call with sighting details asap. Olive is most likely scared and will run from people, possibly into a dangerous situation. If you have trail or security cameras, check them. Qquietly check your properties, window wells, under decks and stairs-anywhere a lost pup may hide. Her family is doing everything we have asked to get her safely home. Please share for awareness!

Daisy didn’t have much of a life at all before being accepted by the Steele County Humane Society Society. She is now ready for the next step in recovery which is a permanent home. Please share Daisy so she can find that.
