🐾 **Furry Friend Friday: Meet Zoe!** 🐾

Meet Zoe, a 6-year-old Frenchie and the unofficial mama of the house. 💕 She may be deaf, but somehow absolutely NOTHING gets past this girl… especially if treats are involved. 😂

During our visits, Zoe becomes my little shadow. Wherever I go, she’s usually right there with me, keeping tabs on what I’m doing and making sure she isn’t missing out on anything important... you know, like snacks.

Most of the time she’s perfectly happy hanging out by my side, but every once in a while she gets a wild hair and it’s GAME ON. She’ll wrestle, play, or absolutely demolish a squishy toy like it personally offended her. 😂

But when Zoe decides playtime is over? It’s over. This girl takes her naps seriously and has absolutely no problem clocking out when she’s ready. Honestly, she has life figured out, play hard, collect your treats, then protect your peace. 🙌

I absolutely love spending time with her. Zoe has such a sweet, funny personality, and being her chosen shadow during our visits makes my day every time. 💛

🐾 **Furry Friend Friday: Meet Cooper!** 🐾

Everyone meet Cooper! A 3-year-old Frenchie who is basically pure energy and personality packed into one little body. 😂💛

Cooper LOVES to play, and fetch is hands-down his favorite thing in the world. If it were up to him, we’d keep throwing that ball until he physically couldn’t chase it anymore. I’m usually the one convincing him that maybe, just maybe, we should take a break because Cooper fully believes he can go all day!

When I finally manage to get him to slow down, he loves a good behind the ear scratch. And on a warm day, you’ll probably find him cooling off in the doggy pool with a chew toy before he’s ready for round two. 😂

He’s spunky, playful, determined, and SO much fun. His personality genuinely brings so much joy to my day, and I always look forward to seeing what kind of fun Cooper and I are going to get into next. 🥰

Pets like Cooper are also why personalized care matters so much. Sometimes my job is getting that energy out...and sometimes it’s being the responsible one who says, “Okay buddy, we need a water break.” 😂🐾

🐾 **Furry Friend Friday: Meet Dozer!** 🐾

This sweet boy is Dozer, a 3-year-old Frenchie who is extra special and has one beautiful eye and the absolute sweetest personality. 💛

Dozer is seriously one of the calmest, cuddliest little guys. He is perfectly happy spending his day lounging around, taking a good nap, relaxing outside, or curling up next to you for as many pets as you’re willing to give him. And trust me, it’s pretty hard to tell that little face no. 😂

He loves playing with his siblings, but he’s just as happy slowing things down and soaking up some one-on-one attention. He’s such an easygoing, loving boy, and I genuinely enjoy every minute I get to spend with him.

Dozer is also a perfect example of why I love getting to know each pet individually. Not every dog needs constant activity to have a great visit. Sometimes what makes them happiest is simply having someone there to keep them company, love on them, and let them enjoy their day exactly the way they like it. 🥰

🐾 Furry Friend Friday: Meet Ellie! 🐾

This week’s spotlight is Ellie, a sweet 4-year-old mini schnauzer who is basically a little ball of love with a touch of sass. 💛

Ellie enjoys the perfect balance of fun and relaxation. She’s all about short sprints of energy followed by some well earned downtime, preferably curled up in my lap giving sweet little kisses. And when the treats run out? Let’s just say she isn’t shy about letting me know it’s time to restock. 😄

She also loves slow, sniff everything twice walks and occasionally gets the zoomies, especially when her 12 year old sister is trying to rest. Ellie keeps life entertaining and full of love, and spending time with her is always a highlight of my week.

☀️ Quick heads up for my pet parents, my summer is filling up quickly!

I’m already starting to book pet care for summer vacations and work travel, and my calendar is filling faster than expected this year. A blessing, yes, but also crazy!

I always try to accommodate everyone, but once my schedule is full I can’t always add extra visits. Planning ahead helps make sure your pets stay happy, comfortable, and cared for in their normal routine while you’re away. 🐾

🐾 Furry Friend Friday: Meet Wilson! 🐾

This week’s spotlight goes to Wilson, a friendly, easygoing cat who’s always happy to make a new friend… especially if treats are involved! 😸 Wilson is the kind of guy who will do just about anything for a handful of snacks and a little extra attention. He is a curious little guy always keeping his eye on what's going on outside and is happy to just be near you.

He’s incredibly mellow and go with the flow, never easily startled and always ready to hang out. Wilson is such a sweetheart, and I always enjoy our visits together. Cats like him make pet sitting such a joy.

When it comes to Happy Paws in-home boarding, your pet is integrated into our family while you’re away.

They receive cuddles, love and attention from the whole family, a daily long walk and we do our best to make sure they don’t miss you at all😅.

It’s important to us that they feel at home, comfortable and relaxed and providing a home environment away from home reduces their stress and allows them to be loved while you’re away.

We do our best to stick to their normal routine and schedule just like they would at home. If you don’t like them to get on furniture, we won’t let them build that habit here either, if you don’t like them to have a treat without sitting first, we will do that as well. Our goal is to create as minimal stress as possible for the pet by keeping their routine the same. We never take more than one booking at a time as safety is a top priority for all involved.

The hard part is when they go home, we miss them! Just like I’m missing sweet Lylah today💕.

🐾 Furry Friend Friday: Meet Libby! 🐾

This week we’re celebrating Libby, a 14 year old lab mix with the sweetest soul. 💛 Libby is the quiet, gentle type who never asks for much… just a good belly rub, a few tasty treats, and her daily walk through the neighborhood she knows and loves so well.

Even at 14, Libby still enjoys her long strolls and seems to know just about everyone along the way. She’s the kind of dog that reminds you how special the bond between people and their pets really is, calm, loyal, and full of love.

Spending time with senior pups like Libby is such a privilege. They have the biggest hearts and the sweetest personalities, and I always cherish our walks together.

When people think of pet care, they often don't include their cats because most feel like cats are self-sufficient. As much as they are, they also need and deserve love, attention and care in whatever way works best for them when their owner is not around and I'm really happy I have quite a few clients who agree.
