15 to 15- Caturday Edition!

What better way to celebrate Caturday than with a look back at the cats who have called FAM home over the past 15 years?

We've had some four-legged (and one three-legged!) team members who made themselves right at home, some permanently, and others as temporary FAM residents!

From supervising the front desk or keeping an eye on daily operations in our treatment area, to finding the perfect spot for an afternoon nap, our FAM housecats have always had a way of stealing the spotlight (and our hearts).

Some are still keeping us on our toes, some have traded hospital life for a home of their own, and others have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. But each one has left their own little paw print on FAM's history.

Here's to Salem, Birdie, Grim, CeCe, Rupert, Mellow, Star and Forest. Four girls, four boys. Eight very different personalities, and eight very different special medical needs that brought them into our care. But all very special parts of our FAMily.

They have all been very loved by our staff, and our clients.

15 weeks. 15 stories. 15 years of FAMily.

Happy Birthday to Lauren!

FAM may be approaching its 15th anniversary, but some of the relationships behind our doors go back much further.

Caring for pets in our community for over 20 years has been our greatest gift. Along the way, we've gotten to know the people who love them, watched families grow, welcomed new generations of pets, and built relationships that extend far beyond a single veterinary visit.

That's one of the things we love most about being a locally owned hospital. The familiar faces, the shared history, and the relationships that last for years.

Because FAMily Means More.

Last week, we kicked off our 15-week countdown to our 15th FAMiversary!

This week, we’re looking back at 2017, when Dr. Gena and Dr. Jenny broke ground on what would become FAM’s new home.

After opening in a small rented space on Garnett in January 2012, it only took a few years for us to outgrow our original location. Dr. Gena and Dr. Jenny invested in property along the Owasso Expressway and began building the hospital we call home today.

And judging by these pictures, they had a little fun putting those shovels to work! 😂

We officially moved into our new building in February 2018, and it’s been home to countless patients, clients, and FAMily memories ever since.
