Today we share some bittersweet news 🐾
Dr Aplin is leaving our hospital to pursue a meaningful and rewarding career in emergency medicine.
Dr Aplin has been an incredible part of our team, known for her kindness, compassion, and genuine dedication to both pets and the people who love them. She has touched so many lives during her time with us, and her calm presence and caring heart will be greatly missed by our team and clients alike.
Dr Aplin also wanted to share a personal message with you all: “Thank you so much to all of my patients and their humans for making the past four years incredibly memorable and rewarding. In the wise words of Winnie the Pooh, ‘how lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.’”
While we will miss her dearly, we are so proud of her and excited to see her thrive in this next chapter. Please join us in wishing Dr Aplin the best in her new journey!

With the holidays coming up, our office will have limited hours next week. Please don’t wait until the last minute to request your pet’s medication refills - call us ahead of time so we can make sure to get everything ready for you before we close!

We are so heartbroken to share that both Opie and Iris crossed over the rainbow bridge tonight. With Opie being 17 and battling renal disease, we knew our time with him was coming to an end, but no one could have predicted that Iris would develop a severe kidney infection and rapidly deteriorate within a matter of days, despite aggressive treatment. As devastating as this has been for us, we are comforted in knowing that they went together, and are now playing with all the little puff balls they want while eating an endless supply of fishy flakes.
Rest in Peace Opie and Iris - the two best office kitties ever 🌈 💔 😔

We received more tags for our Angel Tree yesterday! Thanks to your generosity 30 tags have been taken so far, and now we have 15 more children in the Central Florida Foster Care system who need your help to make their holiday season a little brighter. Gifts are due back by December 9th.
