Welcome to the Promised Land Farm Haflingers! PLF is owned and operated by Paul and Sue Reukauf. We have been breeding Haflingers since the early 1990's. At present the herd consists of several carefully selected brood mares, their offspring by Amtsrat HOF, a few carefully chosen young mares who will be entering the breeding herd, and some youngsters for sale. We have worked hard at developing a

band of mares that exemplify all that is best about the Haflinger breed;
strong constitution
solid conformation
uncomplicated personality
striking chestnut coloring with long flowing white manes and tails
people-loving, willing and forgiving temperaments

Lisel of PLF, 2.5 years old, stands just over 14 hands and still growing. Full sister to Larkin. Sweet and willing temperament. Drives single and double. Have a handful of nice, easy rides under her belt. Started lightly under saddle due to age.
Sells at the Mount Hope Sale October 6th.
She will demo her riding and driving skills during the day before the 6pm sale.

Traffic safe and sound. Well broke single and double driving. Rides well. Has been ridden by a 9 year old boy. She has raked hay. Should be hooked up to the manure spreader by sale time. Stand 14 hands at 3 years old; still growing.
She will demo her riding and driving skills during the day October 6th at the sale grounds and sells at 6pm.

This handsome gelding is traffic safe and sound. Drives single and double. Rides well. Has been on trail rides, walks through creeks, steps over trees. He is a quiet boy. C**t will demonstrate his riding and driving skills on October 6th during the day and sell at the 6pm sale. Currently stands 14.3 hands as a 3 year old.

Check out Promised Land Haflinger bred half sisters, Reba and Truvy!

This week we are showing Reba & Truvy proudly owned by Colleen Donovan on their adventure in Acadia!
They did over 40 miles in 3 days with their scoots. Colleen said they didn’t have any issues with the scoots on this trip. (Yessssss!)

First thing I noticed in this picture were the smiling faces, but the second were the BRIGHT colors on those boots! They POP. Definitely can find those colors in the mud on a trail!
