A little October safety precaution for our black cats! 🖤🐈⬛
Throughout the month of October, Heartland Humane Society will be pausing adoptions of black and primarily black cats. While black cats are no more “spooky” than any other cat, they can be more vulnerable during this time of year, so we want to keep them safe and sound with us through the end of the month.
You’re welcome to visit, spend some time loving on our black cats, and submit an adoption application. We’ll keep approved applications on file and adoptions will resume November 1st.
Until then, our spooky-season kitties will be right here, soaking up the love and waiting for their homes!🐾
