Kelsey's list of need was completed! Thank you to everyone who helped.

But wait theres more!

I had another Dix St treacher reach out. Jo Ravencroft is also in need of help building up her classroom supplies. Below is the wishlist she put together.

We got 2nd grade set, now let's help out the 3rd graders!

Our front office lights are acting up. I have an electrician coming asap but for now I threw some lamps in there. Its good some mood lighting for the dogs coming in haha.

When it comes to electrical I won't risk it, for the dogs safety sake. I always bring in a professional. My buddy Matt over at Oakridge told me over a decade ago that if I mess up my plumbing I can flood my basement, if I mess up my electrical I can burn the building down.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. As Erin said, hopefully its a quick and dumb fix.

Thanks

James

Earlier this week Dix Street Elementary, a local elementary here in Otsego, had a devastating fire. Due to smoke, fire, and water damage the school is closed for an unknown amount of time. Students/teachers are being routed to a school in Allegan, but won't have access to their classroom materials.

Otsego Public Schools has posted a list of materials that the school needs in order for students to have materials they need at home and at school.

Individual teachers are posting lists of materials that helped their classroom feel like a safe place and in order to continue to make things as close to "normal" as they can during this time.

Our own Kelsey Vogt, who worked with us over the summer, is a 2nd grade teacher at Dix Street and has created an Amazon list of materials that she/her students are in need of.

If you are in a position to help, take a look at the district listed needs and Kelsey's list. We'd love to see the list cleared before kids go back!

We are very happy that no one was injured in the fire and that the district was able to find a solution so quickly to help keep these kiddos in school.

**PLEASE EXCUSE THE COMMOTION**

We will be having both of our roofs replaced soon. The crews have already delivered the supplies. Dont be surprised if you see people on the roof as you pick up and drop off.

I have been assured that cleanliness will be a top priority and I will also be regularly checking the front drive and the play areas for any debris with a sweeping magnet.

This will not interfere with any of the normal on goings of the Inn. The dogs will still get the same level of care and experience.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

James
