We are hiring!

As the summer has kicked off we need to expand the MBFI team to meet the needs of the pups.

An eye for cleanliness and safety are the two top priorities for the positions we are hiring for. When those two things get met we then get to have fun with all the dogs. And there is the occasional baby goat pets as a bonus.

Position #1 - Kennel Tech
The Kennel Tech position is a part time position that involves direct care of the dogs. That includes cleaning kennels, rotating play groups, monitoring play groups, preparing foods and any other task that the Kennel Lead assigns. Techs are another set of eyes and hands for during our busiest times.

Position #2 - Kennel Maintenance
The Kennel Maintenance position is a part time position that involves the heavy duty disinfecting and cleaning that needs to occur on a daily basis. Kennel Maintenance works while the pups are napping to maintain the foundation of cleanliness and safety through out the entire building and play areas. While the Techs and Leads do spot cleaning as things get messy, the Maintenance breaks out the shop vacs and hoses to deep clean and sanitize entire areas.

Must be 16 years old or older for both positions.

Internet has been restored. Calls, emails, and texts can resume as usual.

Power is still operational by generator.

*power has since been restored as well.

Last night's storm took out our power and internet. The kennel is utilizing the generator so the day-to-day routine for the dogs isn't affected but communication may be delayed.

We have VERY limited cell service that I will try and you keep updated from. The current restoration time is 7pm tonight.

As little Pinky gets bigger and braver, you might see her sneak out of the fence. She will stay with her momma for the most part but please keep all dogs on leash and in control while coming and going to ensure the baby goats safety. As well as just keep an eye out for a little white fluff ball as you pull into the drive.

Unfortunately the fencing for the goats was NOT designed or planned for an unexpected surprise baby.

On Monday, one of our goats, Donut, surprised us with babies. No, we didn't know she was pregnant. Yes, we are excited to have Pinky with us.

Due to this, you might not see any goats at the front gate for a while. We moved their food and water to the back area to keep Donut and Pinky together and away from the parking lot until baby gets a little bigger.
