🏆 2026 WORLDWIDE CHAMPIONSHIP — JUNIOR DIVISION
33 Junior Teams. 33 WWC Regionals. Three countries. And a look at the future of our dog sport.
Next up in our 2026 K9 Frisbee Worldwide Championship results are some of the youngest competitors on the field — the Junior Division.
Junior handlers are 13 years old and under, and this year 33 Junior Teams competed for the World Championship.
The Junior rules are designed to encourage young handlers as they develop their throwing and teamwork skills. In addition to their Division handicap, Juniors earn 1 point for any completed catch that is out of bounds or short of the 10-yard line.
And this year’s Junior World Championship belongs to Michigan.
🥇 WORLD CHAMPION — Porter Hoffman & Zeke | Nunica, MI
Porter Hoffman & Zeke, an Australian Shepherd representing Nunica, Michigan, are the 2026 Junior Division World Champions!
Porter and Zeke put together rounds of 9.5, 14.0 and 9.5, with that big 14-point second round helping separate them from the field.
Their three-round performance combined with the Junior handicap produced a 48.0 Championship total, giving them a four-point victory and the Junior World Championship.
Porter & Zeke also finished an impressive 53rd Overall among all 1,051 ranked WWC Teams, regardless of Division.
🥈 VICE CHAMPION — Morgan Hyde & Stan Lee | Walker, MI
Michigan takes both of the top two spots.
Morgan Hyde & Stan Lee, a Border Collie representing Walker, Michigan, are the 2026 Junior Division Vice Champions.
They opened with 9.0, followed it with an excellent 13.0 second round, and finished with 7.0 for a 44.0 Championship total.
That was enough to secure second place among the 33 Junior Teams — and put Morgan & Stan Lee 86th Overall in the World.
🥉 3RD CHAMPION — Annabeth Thurston-Wells & Fate | Central Virginia, VA
Talk about consistency.
Annabeth Thurston-Wells & Fate, a Border Collie representing Central Virginia, scored exactly 9.0 points in every round.
9.0. 9.0. 9.0.
Add the Junior handicap and Annabeth & Fate finished at 42.0, earning 3rd Champion honors and completing the 2026 Junior World Championship podium.
🔥 THE JUNIOR TOP 10
Jovi Blackburn & Kiki of Fremont Dog Lodge, Indiana, captured 4th with 40.0, including an 11.5-point opening round.
Canada’s Thomas Mercier & Spike of Levis, Québec, finished 5th with 39.0, while Paula Juarez & Vagen of Ajusco brought Mexico into the World Top 10, taking 6th with 37.5 after finishing with back-to-back double-digit rounds.
Ollie Proctor & WTF gave Central Virginia its second Team in the Top 10, finishing 7th with 36.5.
Then came a pair of Garrattsville, New York Teams. Clara Dedominicis & Roy finished 8th with 36.0, followed by Quort Dedominicis & Hoyt in 9th with 34.0.
Luke Nordquist & Cleo of Payson, Arizona, also finished with 34.0, taking 10th after the WWC tiebreaker was applied.
Quort & Hoyt and Luke & Cleo were tied not only on their Championship totals, but also after their handicap was removed: each scored 19.0 points over three rounds. Under WWC rules, ties are broken by best Round 3, then Round 2, then Round 1. Hoyt’s 8.0 Round 3 topped Cleo’s 7.0 to determine 9th and 10th.
🥏 WWC FRISBEE DOG & ROLLER DOG TITLES
The leaderboard also recognizes the Worldwide Championship Frisbee Dog or Roller Dog title earned by each dog. Titles are based on the dog’s three-round scoring performance before handicap:
10+ — World Certified • 25+ — World Advanced • 35+ — World Champion • 45+ — Grand World Champion • 55+ — Elite World Champion
That’s why Porter & Zeke, for example, have a Championship total of 48.0 while earning the World Advanced Frisbee Dog title based on the 33 points they scored during their three rounds.
And because there are 33 Junior Teams this year, we’re not stopping at a Top 40:
🥏 The accompanying leaderboard recognizes ALL 33 JUNIOR TEAMS who competed in the 2026 K9 Frisbee Worldwide Championship.
They may be the youngest handlers in the League, but they’re already competing on the same Worldwide Championship stage as everyone else.
Congratulations to Porter & Zeke, our 2026 Junior Division World Champions; Morgan & Stan Lee, our Vice Champions; Annabeth & Fate, our 3rd Champions; and all 33 young handlers and their dogs who competed during WWC Week.
Next up: the Expert Division.
