TO NON-PET OWNERS who visit my home. Don't complain about my dog (1) He lives here, you don't.
(2) If you don't want his hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. That's why they call it 'Fur'-niture. (3) Chances are, I love my dog more than I like you.
(4) To you, they're an animal. To me, he is a family member who is furry, walks on all fours, doesn't talk back, lie, cheat, steal (well, sometimes food), and is always there for me when I need a hug. 🤗

6 bats have tested positive for rabies—4 of those cases were confirmed just within the last week.

Rabies is a deadly virus, so it is important to protect your pets and yourself:

• Keep pets up to date on their rabies vaccinations. Even indoor pets can be exposed if a bat enters your home.

• Never touch a bat—even if it appears injured or unable to fly. If you find a bat in your home or suspect contact with a human or pet, call your non-emergency police for assistance.

• Stay informed. The DuPage County Health Department has issued a public alert about preventing rabies.

Today was not the day we expected. We had to say goodbye to our Sophie girl. She was the best dog for the past 12+ years. Last night she began having seizures and they wouldn’t stop, even with medication. We loved her so much and she will be so missed! We are devastated! 💔

Jazz has been a great neighbor to us for the past 11 years. She went over the rainbow 🌈 bridge the other day and is no longer in pain. She’ll be missed so much! Say hi to Buddy, Jazz, and take long walks again! ❤️
