HAPPY TECH WEEK!!!!!

This week we had the privilege of celebrating all of our amazing veterinary technicians!! You may recognize some of these kind faces if you have visited our hospital before!

These people are the ones taking care of all of your pets when you bring them in to our clinic. Our technicians do amazing work every day performing many different tasks in order to get your pets feeling better! Just a few examples are administering vaccines, doing nail trims, snapping x-rays, drawing bloodwork, filling medications, performing dental cleanings, and monitoring anesthesia, just to name a few!

We would love to share some pictures showing not only who our technicians are but showing exactly what they do every day at work! From pure puppy and kitten love to silly pictures taken during treatment to keep things light, it’s clear how deeply they care about all of your pets!!

Please help us to say HAPPY TECH WEEK to all of our amazing veterinary technicians!

A blanket full of memories 🐾💛

Our groomer Kristin received the most heartfelt gift from one of her longtime clients. Gracie, Macy, and Pebbles’ mom saved every bandana from every groom Kristin has done for her pups over the years and turned them into a beautiful keepsake blanket.

Every square is a visit, a fresh haircut, and a happy pup heading home. We’re so touched by this incredible act of love and thoughtfulness.

Thank you to Gracie, Macy, and Pebbles’ mom for celebrating Kristin and the bond she shares with your girls. This is why we do what we do. 💛

As we enter October, we would love to announce our next employee of the month!!!!

Please everyone join us in congratulating Jordan!!! ❤️

Jordan has worked with us for about 1.5 years and joined us as a receptionist in December 2024. Since then, she has moved to being a pharmacy technician and has been doing great in her new role for 8 months! Jordan graduated from Aurora University in 2024 with a degree in communication!!

Her favorite thing about working here at OAH is getting to learn about vet med from all the people who work here who want to see her grow, especially in her new role!

At home, Jordan has two pets- 9 year old Beebo, a domestic medium hair tuxedo cat, and Kali, a 12 year old black and white lab/pointer mix.

Her hobbies outside of work include any type of art! Drawing, painting, and any kind of movies, TV, or books are some examples! A fun fact about Jordan is that she can actually understand most spanish when spoken to, but maybe is not the best at speaking it herself 😆

Jordan says herself that she would not have ever expected to be able to handle working in this industry, especially working with sometimes sick pets, but now she couldn’t imagine doing anything else!!

Thank you Jordan for your continued dedication and hard work! ❤️
