It has been a while since we posted about Silver Sky Boarding And Trails. But we are all doing great things! We have new horses learning new skills and as they say slow and steady wins the race! we welcomed 31 chickens to the farm this past spring and we are looking forward to welcoming 2 pigs soon as well :D We will be posting updates more often for those who want to share in the experience.

Pocket a new addition to the trail team! she needs a little work. but, all in all I we think she will be a wonderful child safe and beginner safe horse.

Got another beautiful pasture up for the horses:) now we have a total of 3!!! Lots of room for everyone to run, play and graze:)

We have talked about opening a campground on a nice 30 acre lot. to get to the grounds we had a few obstacles to over come. The first was a old washed out bridge . we wanted to keep it rustic so we took about 4 old trees cut them down and laid them across this stream. then tied them together with spikes laid some 2x 6s to make a nice platform and made a few railings for the sides. problem 1 solved! problem 2 is simple! clearing space for horses and there person. problem 3 well that is up to you! next year will be the grand opening of the campground! all are welcome there is 20 sites atm and we hope to open 10 more by fall of next year. atvs are welcome to camp on posted days.
