‼️ Important Announcement ‼️ Due to circumstances beyond our control our veterinary staffing for this weekend is very strained and we will have limited capacity for patients. Our overnight shifts for this weekend will be particularly impacted.

We are reserving our team's resources to help the most critical patients. Less critical pets will be diverted to other regional hospitals. It is essential that you CALL US prior to heading in to be sure that our veterinarians will be able to attend to your pet.

Please remember that our team is also human - we have our own medical emergencies, bereavements, and other life events that are difficult to navigate. The people helping you at our practice are working hard and doing their very best. Please be kind.

We will help provide you with other options if we are at capacity, so please - if you need us, call us!!

BRONX WANTS EVERYONE TO KNOW WE ARE STILL SEARCHING FOR THE RIGHT RECEPTIONIST!

PART TIME RECEPTIONIST -
AFTERNOON/EVENING HOURS PLUS SOME SATURDAY SHIFTS 🐾

The hours we need filled would be some nights during the week from around 2/3pm to ~9pm.

Must be able to work Saturdays as well, will not be every Saturday.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing phone calls
- Checking in / cashing out clients
- Filling prescriptions
- Hospitalizing intakes
- Relaying information to and from doctor/clients
- Euthanasia intake
- Inputting medical records into computer
(ALIS system)
- Navigating smart flow system on iPad to ensure proper care of hospitalized patients
- Utilizing electronic and paper files for patients
Etc.

Must deliver excellent customer service.
You will need to be able to speak with clients during their best and worst moments. From getting a new puppy/kitten, healthy visits, sick visits, to end of life care.

Please help spread the word by giving this a share!

We are looking for a part-time animal handler here at Fruit Valley Vet Clinic. No experience necessary but it would be a plus!

On the job training, must be atleast 18 years old and have a great work ethic. This shift mostly consists of a few nights during the week, typically 5-9/10pm along with some Saturday shifts. Ideally this person would also be available on Sundays for treatments of hospitalized patients when needed.

Today we had to say “see ya’ later” to our friend, Erin, after 7 wonderful years. From creating bonds with clients/patients to making life long friends -
Erin put her all into her hard work at Fruit Valley! With always having teamwork in mind she always putting our patients first and that’s all we can ever ask for.

You will be SO very missed by everyone. Thank you for all you’ve done for the clinic (and more), and for carrying the clinic on your back at times.

On a BRIGHTER note we wish you the very best on your new HAPPY and exciting adventure!! 🥳
