The Love Dog of the Week is… EMMIE!
Emmie is a quirky, cuddly, and overall funny lady. Emmie is 5 years old and has been back at the rescue for just over a year now. Emmie was adopted out for 2.5 years, however, certain life style changes of her previous family resulted in Emmie rejoining the Love Dogs community. This turn around didn’t stop Emmie from settling right back in and she quickly made her mark on the rescue and our handlers. Emmie is a people LOVER and wants to say hello to anyone she can. Emmie enjoys long sniffy walks, snuggling with our staff, and playing with her toys! Emmie is truly a sweet girl but does have a history of recourse guarding on occasions. She is also HIGHLY dog reactive and would do best in a home with no other animals. This sweet girl is searching for her forever family and would bring lots of love and laughs to any home she joins. If you or someone you know is interested in some canine companionship, Emmie is definitely the lady for the job! The Love Dog of the Week is… EMMIE!
Emmie is a quirky, cuddly, and overall funny lady. Emmie is 5 years old and has been back at the rescue for just over a year now. Emmie was adopted out for 2.5 years, however, certain life style changes of her previous family resulted in Emmie rejoining the Love Dogs community. We had such a fun filled day here at the rescue! The Love Dogs spent their days on long leash sniffy walks, having playdates in yards, and enjoying kibble forages. Some of the pups used their noses and brains to complete puzzle games. Other Love Dogs worked on walking with clickers and practicing tricks. The leaves are falling steadily at the rescue and the pups are absolutely loving the weather and colors!

We had another gorgeous day here at the rescue today! It was the perfect day for the Love Dogs to enjoy all of their favorite pass times. The dogs spent their days playing with each other in yards, on long leash sniffarie walks, and practicing tricks! All of the Love Dogs soaked up the sun and beautiful weather in every possible way. It was a cloudy morning at the Love Dogs Rescue but the afternoon allowed for some sun filled fun! The Love Dogs enjoyed a wide variety of activities that brought many doggie smiles to these sweet faces. Some of the dogs enjoyed yard time digging in holes, playing fetch, and more! Other pups had a blast on long leash walks through paddocks, around the rescue property, and wherever their noses desired! Check out these photos from our day!🥳🐶

The Love Dog of the Week is… SUNDAE!
Sundae is a sweet and snuggly lady who has been at the Love Dogs Rescue for ~6 years and is 10 years old. In her time with us, Sundae has wiggled her way into the hearts of all of our handlers. Sunny loves to spend her days on leisurely walks, foraging for kibble in yards, and simply hanging out in her room. Sundae is a total cuddle bug and her absolute FAVORITE thing to do is snuggle on her bed with our staff. This sweet girl is very relaxed by nature but IS REACTIVE to cars, dogs, and cats but is a true people LOVER. If you or someone you know is looking for their forever best friend and cuddle buddy then look no further than Sundae. Today started out as damp and cloudy day at the rescue but soon turned to a nice sunny and breezy day. The Love Dogs were happy with the change of weather and had an exciting FriYAY! The pups enjoyed long leash walks, sniffing through paddocks and the barn, and doing puzzle games. Some of the Love Dogs were feeling themselves and the weather and posed for some pics! He is a very happy and playful boy and specifically plays very well with other little dogs. Melo also loves to go for walks. He does have a history of nipping and resource guarding.
