Dr. Razo is getting into the holiday season here at Vet Partners on Main.

We will be closed on the 24th and 25th, but we will open our regular business hours on the 26th.

That’s a great question, Stevey!🥶 It’s tough on those little paws when the temperatures drop and the snow starts piling up. Ice, rock salt, and de-icers can cause painful cracking, dryness, and chemical burns on your pet's pads. Here are a few tips to help keep your dog more comfortable and safe during their winter adventures:

🐾Protect the Pads: Apply a protective paw balm before going outside. This creates a barrier against cold, ice, and chemical irritants.

👢Booties: For longer walks on salted sidewalks, consider dog booties. Make sure they fit properly to avoid rubbing!

🚿Rinse and Dry: Always rinse your dog's paws with warm water and a towel immediately after coming inside to remove any salt, ice melt, or grit. Pay special attention to the areas between the toes.

✂️Trim Fur: Keep the hair between your dog's paw pads trimmed short to prevent ice balls from forming.

Last week, some of our staff members visited Allied Brooklyn Park to take some adorable photos with Santa. 🎅

From what we heard, Santa was beyond excited to see the snake. 💚🐾

Just a friendly reminder: we will be closed on December 24th and 25th. As of now, we are open on the morning of the 26th. (Hours may extend if needed)

On December 31st, we will be open to our regular business hours of 8am - 1pm. We will be closed on January 1st. We will be open during our regular hours on January 2nd.

We had a client come in with a found cat. They found it on South Diamond Lake Road, Rogers/Dayton. It's a female. She does have a microchip, but it is not registered with the database. She is super friendly.
They have posted on the next-door pages and other locations.
We have the finder's contact information and the microchip number.
