Today, on World Rabies Day, we’re raising awareness about a serious but preventable disease that affects both animals and people. ❤️
One of the most important things we can do as pet parents is keep our pets up to date on their rabies vaccinations. Vaccination protects our pets, our families, and our communities. 🐶🐱🐰
🐾 Keep rabies vaccinations current.
🐾 Avoid contact with wild or unfamiliar animals.
🐾 Never handle wildlife that appears sick, injured, or unusually friendly.
🐾 Contact your veterinarian if your pet is bitten or exposed to a potentially rabid animal.
🐾 Teach children to never approach or touch unfamiliar animals.
