Bootsie and Lefty had an amazing workout tonight. They both worked really hard. They learned some new things, slowed some things down and ended with an easier exercise they’ve done before.

You are invited to attend our K-9 Basics Seminar on Tuesday, September 15th, at 6:30 PM.

This seminar will give you the tools to start building a strong foundation of training and relationship skills with your dog.
You’ll be able to start using these tools right away at home.

We will cover a lot of ground in this 2-hour PowerPoint and demonstration training seminar. Everything from building a feedback communication system to reward reinforcement methods to management tools and engagement skills, we will show you how to begin successful ways to increase responsiveness and impulse control with your companion.

These are the skills we need ‘before’ we tackle sit, down, heel and stay. Those become so much easier after we build our foundation.
So, if you want to ramp up your relationship with your dog and create a meaningful, fulfilling bond for both of you, please consider joining us for a couple of hours shared with others who want to do the same.

The cost is just $60 for two people of the same household. No dogs at this seminar other than our demo dogs so you can focus and learn. You can sign up by sending an email to Julie at [email protected] and ask for a registration packet. Or send a message here.

The K-9 Basics Seminar also serves as week one of our 7 week beginners Class, but can be taken as a stand alone seminar.

If you’re coming out to Shadowland tonight for drop off or pick up, you should be able to get through, but you will have to stop and tell them where you are going to use the highway due to the road blockage as law enforcement searches for suspects at large from the armed robbery.
Everyone is safe out here!
