Animals have always been my passion. It's not often that your life's passion becomes part of your career, but I'm one of the lucky ones. After 7 years of professionally grooming at some great local shops, I'm turning one of my biggest bucket list dreams into a reality by opening Freeda's Pet Spa. When we

built our home, we did it with Freeda's in mind, adding on a grooming space and a large fenced outdoor dog run, all to ensure your furry family members look great, have fun and are able to enjoy a safe environment at all times.

Dear Valued Clients,

I hope all of you are doing well and had a happy and healthy Thanksgiving! I am writing this to share some news with you all.

Many of you already know but I have made a very difficult decision to close my business and retire from grooming at the end of this year.

After 15 years of grooming and almost 8 years in business, this is incredibly hard. You are more than clients, you have become like family! It has been such a privilege to be able to care for your dogs throughout their lives from 8 week old puppies to senior citizens!

I want to thank you all for the outstanding love and support you've given me over the years. I am eternally grateful and will never forget your kindness. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your dog's journey! I will deeply miss each and every one of my dogs.

It is time for me to embark on a new journey! If you need anything or have any questions please feel free to reach out to me. I appreciate all the encouragement you've given me to begin this new chapter in my life.

Amazing long time customers of mine stopped in today to show me this quilt they had made in memory of their sweet pup Chloe who passed away a few months earlier. It's made up of all the bandanas she received over the years from grooming. I look at this quilt and remember each bandana. It tells a story of Chloe's life! It's such a beautiful tribute to her! Thank you for sharing this with me. It has truly warmed my heart and brought me happy tears! She will never be forgotten ❤

I hope everyone has been enjoying their summer! As usual it feels like it just flew by!

I wanted to update you all:
I am indefinitely not accepting NEW large breed (40lb and over) haircuts regardless if you are a current client or have been in the past. This was such a difficult decision for me as I am in LOVE with my big dogs!! Unfortunately it is necessary in order to preserve my career in grooming. Maneuvering, lifting, holding even the most well behaved dogs takes a toll on your body.

I am still not accepting new clients at this time but if you are on my waitlist I will contact you in the order you were placed on the list. I know my waitlist is long but I am doing the best I can! 😊

Thank you for your understanding and constant support of my small business! I am truly blessed!

I just wanted to update you on my schedule. My daughter is doing much better now and I am back to full time.

Dear Valued Customers,

I want to start off by saying thank you from the bottom of my heart for your patience while I've been away on maternity leave! I sincerely appreciate you all and deeply miss seeing all of your faces (and your owner's faces too).😉

I want to address a few things that have been weighing on me. I think it's extremely important to have good communication so we are all on the same page.

As some of you may know our daughter who was born in July has some feeding difficulties and requires some extra attention that only I can provide her.

My plan is to return to work October 25th, however I will need to cut my hours to part time next week to be able to care for my daughter. I'm unsure how long this will continue but I will need to take each week by week and keep you all posted.

With that being said if you have any appointments scheduled with me 12:00pm or later please have a backup plan for grooming as there is potential I will need to cancel. It is all depending on how my daughter progresses every week.

I will try to move clients to my days off but may not be able to accommodate everyone. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and if you would like referrals to other groomers for a secure spot please let me know! There are many wonderful groomers in the area!
