This National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day, we’re proud to partner with the Oshkosh Area Humane Society! At Doggie Paddle, we give shelter dogs a break from kennel life by bringing them in for fun swims. It’s amazing how this helps them shine! Swimming showcases a dog’s playful side and gives future owners a glimpse of the joyful bond they can build. Adopt, swim, and start a lifelong friendship! You can also be part of this mission! We offer the option to donate a swim session to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society dogs, giving them even more opportunities to show their playful side and prepare for a forever home. Every splash counts!

Paddlers Preview 🗣️📢
Meet Roy, the determined Doberman Pinscher who first joined us at just seven months old! His mom had a big dream: she wanted him to become a dock diver. But first, Roy needed to learn to swim!
Those initial sessions were far from graceful—lots of splashing, flailing, and a bit of panicking. But with consistency, patience, and teamwork—both with Matt and Roy’s Mom and Dad—Roy’s confidence blossomed. Now, Roy is not only swimming on his own, but happily fetching toys in the water. His swimming technique is improving, and his drive to play and retrieve is stronger than ever. That once-distant goal of dock diving? It’s now closer than ever, and we can’t wait to see Roy take the leap!
