The puppies really impressed me yesterday!!
First car ride and only one puppy was upset. Settled after about 30 minutes and the rest of the 8 hour drive was a breeze.
No major crate accidents!!!!
First time off property, and they watched and took everything in. Golf carts, dogs running and jumping and barking, big pool splashes, new people, life jackets, biiiiig pool, lots of yelling- they took it all in stride and wanted to smooch everyone.
Everyone swam, too! Trout was the first to barrel down off the dock and swim. Minnow was the first to jump to me from the ramp. Sardine REALLY wanted to get the Wubba and was a very brave boy getting in the water. Guppy made some advances into the water, too!
We practiced getting everyone off the ramp and swimming back towards it. We gave them freedom to interact with us on the ramp or escape up onto the dock. They did retreat a few times, but mostly stayed on the ramp with us, working really hard to overcome their hesitation!
When we got home, they all IMMEDIATELY LEPT into the kiddie pool. That's a new one from them, so I was really happy to see how much their swim lesson with Cass Rocha built their confidence!
A great experience for 7 week old babies for sure. :)
