🐾❤️ MEET THE BOYS! BRIAN & BOY ARE LOOKING FOR LOVE! ❤️🐾

Remember Gladys and Scruffy? Meet their brothers!

When their owner unexpectedly passed away, these four young Shih Tzu mixes were left needing homes. Fur Ever Yours Animal Rescue stepped up, arranged their initial veterinary care and vaccinations, and found foster families. ❤️

🐾 BOY: THE EASYGOING GENTLEMAN!

Approximately 1 year old and 20 pounds, Boy is the calmer brother. He's housetrained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is happiest close to his people.

🐾 BRIAN: THE ENTHUSIASTIC GREETER!

Also approximately 1 year old and 19.5 pounds, Brian is pure enthusiasm! Affectionate, playful, and full of wiggles, he sometimes greets people with a bark or little howl. 😂 He's still working on his leash manners and can pull a bit.

❤️ BOTH BOYS are dog friendly, love people, and take treats gently. They're especially fond of soft or fish treats, but hard biscuits aren't their thing!

Both jump up when excited, so homes without toddlers would likely be best.

🏡 NOW ACCEPTING ADOPTION PRE-APPLICATIONS!

📅 Expected go-home date: Weekend of November 1, following their neuter appointments and recovery.

🚛🌾🐄 THREE TRUCKLOADS DELIVERED! ❤️

The first three truckloads of haylage have arrived in Okanogan County to help cattlemen impacted by the Sinlahekin Fire!

A HUGE thank you to Toby Knutzen and Double K Farms and T &C Farms for thinking of our local ranchers and offering an incredible opportunity to help feed their cattle through the winter.

🌾 A very special THANK YOU to Best Friends Animal Society for providing the grant funding that helped make this possible!

And to Fur Ever Yours Dog Rescue, thank you for the countless hours behind the scenes writing grants, making connections, securing funding, and coordinating this effort.

From an amazing offer of haylage to getting it delivered, there have been a lot of moving pieces and some wonderful people making it happen.

To everyone who has donated, hauled and helped, THANK YOU!

We know these ranchers have a long road ahead, but every load of feed helps ease the burden.

Sometimes helping your neighbors is as simple as asking, "What can I do?" And then doing it. ❤️

🐾❤️ GLADYS NEEDS A SPA DAY!✂️🐶

Sweet Gladys is settling in beautifully with her foster family, and we're starting to see more of her sweet little personality! ❤️

Her sister Scruffy is right there with her. After losing their dad, we wanted to keep these two girls together so they wouldn't have to face any more upheaval than necessary.

But as you can see from the photos, Gladys is in desperate need of a good grooming!✂️

Her coat needs some serious attention, and we'd love to get her feeling clean, comfortable, and looking like the beautiful little girl she is!

And grooming is just the beginning. Gladys already has a veterinary appointment scheduled for her spay, and we're hoping to raise enough to help cover these immediate expenses.

Fur Ever Yours Animal Rescue has stepped up for these girls, and now we're hoping our community can help with the next steps.❤️

Losing their dad was enough upheaval for these two. Keeping them together has helped give them some stability while they settle into their new lives.

🐾🐱 GLADYS & SCRUFFY: CAT TESTED!🐱🐾

Just a little sneak peek of these two girls on Day 2 with Fur Ever Yours Animal Rescue! ❤️

Gladys and Scruffy enjoyed a little outing on their way to their new foster home, with a few introductions along the way!

🐱 Cats: they did amazing!

🐔 Chickens: Not caught on camera, but neither girl showed any reaction!

🐴 Horses: Well... they're still trying to figure out what those REALLY BIG creatures are! 😂

It's only Day 2, and we're still getting to know these sweet girls, but so far, they're doing great!

New adventures, new beginnings, and hopefully forever homes ahead! ❤️🐾

🐾FOUND DOG | ROSS CANYON RD., OMAK, WA🐾

This dog was found on Ross Canyon Road in Omak and is currently safe and in the care of Fur Ever Yours Animal Rescue❤️

If you believe this is your dog, please contact FurFur Ever Yours Dog Rescuerectly.

Proof of ownership will be required including veterinary records and photos to help verify ownership.

Update: the ideal situation is to get transport for this dog from Republic, Washington to Oklahoma. His owner is moving by greyhound bus and cannot take him on the bus. If anyone knows any trucker groups or other transport options or if anyone is flying to Oklahoma and can take a dog with them.

This dog needs a rehome, or in reading through the comments, if he could find transport across Country to his new owner’s location that also might solve the situation

A Beautiful Sunrise. A Little More Hope.

This beautiful sunrise was captured from the west side of the valley, looking east over the area impacted by the Sinalahekin Fire.
And with it came another welcome update from our hay relief efforts.

More hay is being unloaded, and tomorrow afternoon, another load is expected to make its way to a local family in need.

Pine Creek area neighbors working together to get hay where it's needed.

It may not make the headlines, but this is what recovery looks like.
One load of hay at a time. One rancher helping another. Neighbors making sure neighbors and their animals aren't forgotten.

The fire may be behind us, but the work of recovering from it continues.

To everyone who donated hay, contributed toward transportation, helped coordinate deliveries, hauled loads, or lent a hand along the way, thank you.

And to the ranchers and families still working through the aftermath, we're thinking of you.

Hay. Hope. Recovery.
