That's My Wild Cat

That's My Wild Cat I'm a small in home cattery working with Maine C***s, Savannah Cats and a combo of both called Skoons. It wasn't long before I was looking for a mate for her.

Breeding for pet homes with health and temperament is a top priority. Kittens are raised in home with little dogs and lots of love. I acquired my first Savannah kitten, Willow, an F2B in early 2016. After researching and looking for more than a year she finally came to me all the way to Washington state from Virginia. I knew that I was hooked and wanted to contribute to the Savannah Cat enthusiast

s. I found a wonderful breeder locally in Washington state and waited ever so "patiently" for him to be born. A gorgeous little golden brown spotted F5C boy named Sebastian. These two have filled my house with a ton of life and amusement. Willow is so unlike what I heard about F2's as she is very outgoing, never skittish and loves to be held. She does chirp occasionally when watching the squirrels and gives plenty of headbutts. Sebastian on the other hand is more what I expected. He is WILD, running and bouncing off the walls. Catterwalls like a mad man. He loves is home raised/frozen mice snacks and is a hoot to watch him throw them around, hunt them and make the "kill". These kids are raised side by side with my young daughter and our dogs. My mother is a live in on occasion and she has her cat and pups here too! All cats before entering my home are FIV, Felv and FIP tested clear before allowed to interact with the others. Health and happiness are a priority. I'm new and will make mistakes and will learn as I make this journey to become a member of a great community of Savannah Cat lovers! I will listen to my mentors and hope to be able to educate others as well. I will only be able to provide a small number of kittens per year, if even that, so that I can ensure each litter is well cared for and given the utmost attention and affection to produce loving well rounded pet kittens to those who also fall in love with My Wild Cat Savannah's.

Marge had her babies Saturday afternoon. Two boys that may be black silver or smokes and one girl who looks to be a tortie. Then, sadly, we lost the littlest first born boy 24 hours later on Sunday afternoon.

My daughter made the comment that we have quite the pet sematary going. Yes, as a breeder you lose kittens and puppies occasionally and we bury them. I had told her that earlier that week I was considering giving the kittens names from Stephen King's books if they had all been born as girls.

I woke up this morning to see how the remaining two were doing and was completely shocked that I saw THREE little kittens!! Does my Pet Sematary actually have regenerative powers?! Quickly had a look and appears this new big baby is a girl. Phew, it didn't come from beyond the realms of the dead. 😆

Now I have to give them names from Stephen King'' Pet Sematary book!! It's only fitting.

Introducing, Rachel (the mom who returned from the grave), Ellie (the daughter who didn't die in the book) and Louis (the dad who also didn't die). I will now give the name of Gage to the kitten that passed away. His ass better stay dead and not show up on my doorstep. LOL

1st picture was the first three born. The second picture is what I saw this morning when I was only expecting two. I'll get a better picture of them to share soon.

Tillamook aka Mook aka Mooky. This boy is a handful! Definitely would do best with a buddy.. or his sister as a companion. He loves to wrestle and play. I feel like he's going to be a fairly good-sized boy. And he's got purr purrs when you pick him up too.

Taking a family portrait. One litter of Skoons and one litter of Maine C***s. If I could keep them all, I would!! This crop has been so much fun. So unique. So colorful.

There are two full Maine C***s still not spoken for. That big blue and white boy, Mook. And the black tortie girl, Landing Strip.. you know, the one with the strip on her face.

The catmint was introduced to the kittens. They didn't know what to do so Marge stepped in and showed them.
