Today, LOVAR would like to thank three very special people. Charlene, a new resident of SaddleBrooke (she's also a volunteer with Barb's Rescue in Mexico) and Brigitte and Tom also from SaddleBrooke, for their generosity and their love for animals. Bridgitte and Tom adopted a 13 yr old dog from us about 5 months ago. Since that adoption, they have donated quite a bit of dog and cat food to our rescue. Charlene, walked into PetCo today and asked our Director to fill up the cart (numerous times) with food and pet supplies. Our hearts go out to these three most generous people.
The photos below are Charlene with one of our Directors and Bridgitte and Tom with their three dogs. Thank you again, for your generosity.

Lucas, Remy and Nueman are still waiting for their "forever" homes. All three are a delight to have around. Remy is young and sweet but a little shy. Lucas is about 12 or 13 months, and loves to play. Neuman is young and likes to be pet. All three get along very well with other cats. They will be at Petco Sunday, 9/20, Oro Valley Market Place, 10:30 - 1:00.
Lucas needs to go to a new foster. One of the family cats in his foster home does not like Lucas and refuses to get along with him. If there is anyone who can step up and foster or maybe foster to adopt, or is interested in adopting Remy or Neuman, please complete the online application at www.lovar.org
Also, as a reminder, we are selling the Jim Click Raffle tickets online at www.lovar.org or in person at PetCo on Sundays from 10:30-1:00 when we are featuring the animals that are up for adoption.

Please come in and meet Remy, Lucas and Neuman

REMY - was rescued from someone's yard when the rest of the litter went missing. They were probably taken by coyotes. She's approximately 16 or 17 weeks old and is pure kitten energy. She loves chasing string, purring and climbing into her human's lap A litle shy at first, but warms up quickly with gentle words of encouragement. She adores scratches and ear rubs. She's fine with other cats, has been spayed and UTD on shots.
LUCAS - 14 month old cat is still available and waiting for his "forever" home. He's very active and loves playing with the other cats in his foster home but would do well being the "one and only".He is UTD on shots and has been neutered.
NEUMAN - our male orange tabby, around 8 1/2 months old, very laid back, sweet, likes to be pet and and does well with other cats. He too is ready for adoption, UTD on shots and is neutered.
