On the road again! This time with Sally!

Cat 🐈 house call went great!

Since we passed by Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and it’s a Friday - why not? We brought Halloween donuts and hats back to the team for a fun way to start the day! 🎃 🐈‍⬛ 🧙 🍩 🍩

📦🐱 IF I FITS, I SITS! 😂🐾

Big box, little box, Amazon box… if there’s a box, your cat is IN IT! 📦😹

But seriously… WHY are cats so obsessed with boxes? Is it the cozy vibes? The hiding spot? The fact that the box definitely wasn’t meant for them? 🤔😂

We want to see your BOX-CAT PHOTOS! 📸🐈

👇 Drop your best pics in the comments! We want to see your cats sitting in, squeezing into, hiding in, or completely taking over a box. Bonus points for boxes that are WAY too small! 🤣

Let’s see those box-loving kitties! 🐾❤️

I was asked to talk about "Why are all these corporations buying up all these vet hospitals?"

Private equity owns about 25% of general/primary care vet hospitals and 75% of specialty/ER practices. This equates to about 50% of the nationwide veterinary revenue produced belongs to private equity.

In 2019 ~29 BILLION dollars were spent on companion animal care nationally. In 2028 that total is projected to be 54 BILLION DOLLARS!!!

If you want to know who owns your vet hospital: www.privateequityvet.org and www.independentvet.com

I am proud to have a small, family-owned veterinary hospital!
Support local!

Happy first day of Fall! 🍁🍂💛🧡

Please help us help the The Kitten Kingdom🐱 by sponsoring a cat spay or cat neuter! Dr. Wolfe has pledged to match up to 4 cat spay / neuter procedures to help the cause!

The rescue effort is near and dear to our hearts at Granada Animal Hospital. Prior to moving into private practice, Dr. Wolfe was a shelter veterinarian and was able to see the companion animal overpopulation and ownership crisis first hand.

We are strong advocates for people adopting the many pets in rescues and shelters that need loving homes whenever people can.

Please help us get more kitties into homes by making sure they are spayed / neutered and ready to be adopted out!

If you are interested in adopting one of the sweet little kittens, please reach out to the Kitten Kingdom. To make a donation to help this spay/neuter initiative, please contact our office or use this link!
