Meet Sultan 👑

At about 1.5 years old, Sultan is a larger-than-life pup with an even bigger personality! Weighing in around 138 lbs, this gentle giant has “lap dog” dreams and will happily try to convince you he belongs right beside (or on top of) you.

Sultan is a playful, goofy boy who enjoys the company of other dogs, though he’ll need continued guidance with manners and excitement levels. He’s still learning the basics—he knows how to sit (when he’s feeling cooperative!)—and will thrive with a confident adopter committed to consistent training and structure. Due to his size and strength, he’ll need someone comfortable handling a powerful dog and continuing his leash skills.

He would do best in a home without small animals. A home with cats may be possible with a very slow, thoughtful introduction.

Sultan has shown signs of resource guarding around food, toys, and his bowl. Because of this, he’ll need an experienced owner who is prepared to continue training and implement appropriate management to help him feel secure and build positive behaviors in these situations.

Despite his size, Sultan is truly a big-hearted goofball who just wants love, attention, and a place to belong. With the right person, he has all the potential to become an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion.
