💍❤️ A Little Life Update From Behind the Scenes…❤️💍

If I’ve seemed a little quieter than usual lately, there’s a very good reason 🥹

My youngest daughter got MARRIED this past weekend! 💒🫶 And our family has been soaking up every beautiful, emotional, once-in-a-lifetime moment.

I don’t share much of my personal or family life on this page. With a public page, I’ve always felt that keeping certain parts of our lives private is the safest and smartest choice. ❤️ But so many of you have reached out to check on us and ask where we’ve been, and I truly appreciate it.

So, YES — Rustic Acres is still here, and we are VERY much busy behind the scenes! 😂🐾

The babies are growing, the moms are keeping me busy, and there is plenty happening that I can’t wait to start sharing with you again. 🐾❤️

We’ll be getting back to being much more active around here… at least until our family’s next — and LAST — set of nuptials in October! 😳😂💍

Yep… the last of my three girls. ❤️🫶
Apparently 2026 decided to come for this mama’s heart and her mascara. 😂

For now, I just had to share one little glimpse from an incredibly special weekend. 🥹❤️

And to everyone who noticed our absence and reached out — thank you. We’re still here, still loving on babies, and I have SO much to catch you up on!

🐾 TABBY TALK — RUSTIC ACRES Edition! 🐾

This handsome guy is Klaus, from one of our very first litters here at Rustic Acres Maine C***s. His mother , Nikki sent me this picture today .❤️ Just LOOK at how beautifully he matured! Those green eyes, that strong Maine C**n muzzle, ear furnishings, and that gorgeous tabby coat… 😍

But here’s a fun fact: “tabby” isn’t actually a color — it’s a PATTERN! Tabby cats can come in many different colors, including brown/black, silver, blue, red and cream.

There are several tabby patterns you may hear us talk about:

🐯 Mackerel Tabby — narrow stripes running down the sides, giving that little “tiger” appearance.

🌀 Classic Tabby — bold, beautiful swirls and circular or bullseye-like markings along the sides.

✨ Ticked Tabby — individual hairs have bands of color, giving the coat a more blended appearance with fewer obvious body stripes.

🐆 Spotted Tabby — the markings are broken into spots rather than continuous stripes.

And now we get to watch another generation of tabby babies grow up… 👀

Our chunky little mobsters are already showing off some absolutely gorgeous tabby markings, and THIS is one of my favorite parts of raising Maine C***s — watching those patterns develop as they grow.

Will we have bold swirls? Tiger-like stripes? Who is going to have the most dramatic face markings? And which little Mob Boss is going to grow into a big, impressive Maine C**n like Klaus? 🥹

That’s the fun part… we get to watch it happen together!

Raven and Frankie’s Mob Boss Litter is growing right before our eyes, and I am completely obsessed with this little crew. 🖤

Getting some energy out on the cat wheel, and as I stood there watching her, one thing became VERY obvious…

The determination. The fluffy tail flying. The “I have places to be!” attitude. 😂 This girl was NOT about to be passed!

I’m pretty sure she thinks we bought her a personal racetrack… and honestly, she may be right. 🤣
