This is awful! What’s scary is this isn’t the first time this has happened. First of all, we’re very open and transparent as a rescue and anyone who visits here knows our dogs would never end up like this or live in horrible conditions. There are so many reputable rescues, but sometimes you have these that are in it for money and don’t care about the animals. Some shelters have advocates who will collect donations for a rescue who will pull an animal, which is supposed to help cover vetting. The scary part is, people like this collect the money and the dogs are never cared for. Our Dude was rescued from a similar situation and we’re so thankful he made it out alive. A lot of dogs never do. 😢 Before you donate to a rescue I would say, check them out thoroughly. It’s pretty safe to say all of our area rescues are truthful and have the animals best interest at heart. ❤️
