Hi everyone! Thanks soooo much for coming out to our first ever “after party”! It was such a fun day and luckily, we ended right at 3pm as I timed it for! No breaks all racing and contests from noon till 3! Then the rush to pack up the entire ensemble by 4pm so OCC could reset for an evening concert! TVs k you DachDachshund Adoption Rescue and Education (DARE) SkywSkyway Dachshund Rescue, Inc. your support with that task…and OCC RoOCC Road House. I think we were fully loaded in the trailer by 4:05…a record clean up!!!!

Pictures…well…the lighting was not conducive and we had a request to turn off the support lighting on the course so there are NO still pictures. We will post the go pro and finish line videos this week. We just needed a little time to recover. We have been at this for 10+ years and have aged with it…meaning…we were beat to hell🤕
However, we will be doing this all over again starting in October!
And a huge shout out to Backyard Dog RacingBackyard Dog Racing Leaguesupport and enthusiasm during the races getting the dogs names, resumes and stories out there! Something I’ve always wanted to do but it’s just hard running this event, putting it all together and executing 30% of what I had planned!
The ride weather interruption did allow me to finally coordinate the baby puppy heat with “my first race” certificates! We also got the miles program started -for those who signed up- and the Rainbow Bridge Race for champions memorials passed out.
