International Cat Day is the perfect time to celebrate the cats who fill our homes and our hearts.

Heart disease in cats can be difficult to detect because many cats show few or no outward signs. Regular veterinary exams and early evaluation of a heart murmur, gallop rhythm, or breathing changes can make an important difference.
Celebrate your cat today by protecting the heart behind every purr.

August is National Immunization Awareness Month! It’s the perfect time to make sure your pet’s protection is up to date.

We’re often asked, “Can my dog still receive vaccines if they have a heart condition?” In many cases, the answer is yes—but every patient is different. Your primary veterinarian can help determine the safest vaccination plan based on your pet’s individual health needs.

Vaccines help protect cardiac patients from serious illnesses that could place additional stress on the heart. If you have questions, our team is always here to help.

A little prevention today can protect every heartbeat tomorrow!

Every TEER procedure marks the beginning of a new chapter—one with more walks, more playtime, more cuddles, and more time with the families who love them most.

Please help us celebrate our two newest TEER warriors. We’re honored to be part of their story and can’t wait to see all that’s ahead! Congrats Brody and Solo!

Happy National Mutt Day to all of the lovable mixed-breed pups out there!
At Central Florida Veterinary Cardiology, we know every heart is special — and that includes our wonderful “Heinz 57” dogs.

Fun fact: mixed-breed dogs are often thought to benefit from greater genetic diversity, which may help reduce the risk of inheriting certain genetic conditions. While every pet is unique, it’s one more reason we celebrate these amazing one-of-a-kind companions.

Today, give your mutt an extra cuddle, a treat, and a reminder of just how loved they are. Because no matter the breed mix, they leave pawprints on our hearts forever.

Thank you for your patience. ❤️

At CFVC, every patient receives individualized attention and care. We recommend allowing up to two hours for your appointment, as specialized testing, detailed evaluations, and treatment discussions take time. Our priority is making sure you leave with a thorough understanding of your pet's heart health and a clear plan moving forward.

Our team has a very special new arrival to celebrate!

Dr. Bolfer and his family welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Alessio, earlier this week. Mom and baby are doing great! He has already captured plenty of hearts—and who knows, we may be looking at a future cardiologist in training!

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Bolfer and his family. Welcome to the world, Alessio!
