I was thinking about this the other day…

What you practice in private becomes who you are in public.

I think a lot of people look at a well-trained dog and assume they were just born calm, obedient, or easy.

They weren’t.

That dog has probably done hundreds (if not thousands) of reps that nobody ever saw. The boring stuff. The stuff that isn’t worth posting. 😂

A few minutes here.
A few minutes there.
Holding them accountable when it’d be easier not to.
Doing the same things over and over until they become second nature.

That’s really where obedience comes from.

Honestly… I think the same thing applies to us too.

Whether it’s training your dog, building a business, or just trying to become someone you’re proud of, nobody applauds the reps. They only notice the result.

The reps are what matter.

Tbh I can’t even remember the last time Draco actually needed a leash or collar
