As for the D.D.C, we aren’t going anywhere just yet. But things move fast while planning a move, and I want to provide plenty of notice for all of our customers. I will be in contact with everyone moving forward as we learn more details.

As for the future of the D.D.C. I am a bit unsure at the moments. Perhaps look for D.D.C Phoenxville/Collegeville/Kimberton coming soon.

Greetings to the D.D.C Fam!!

Got some important details to share with all so here goes…..

Molly and I have made the very difficult decision to move back up to the Philly area to be closer to family. After welcoming Ellie into our world back in 2024 our worlds completely changed. We recognized quick that as much as we absolutely love Orlando, being close to family support, holidays, bdays, cousins, and special events is just something that we can not pass up as Ellie grows older. Doing it all on our own has been a challenge and we’re excited to be close to family and local friends again. Something Molly and I have been without for much of the last 14 years.

When I started District Dogs back in summer of 2022 it was thought to be a side project. A much needed break from a grueling overnight corporate job I had done for years. Molly and I aren’t from here. We have a great small group of friends but limited connections. Especially when thinking about taking on the task of starting a small business. We were unsure of the support we would recieve and hadn’t the slightest idea whether or not it could or would work in the Downtown Orlando area.

The response in my humble opinion has been overwhelming. Our goal from the beginning was to ensure “quality care with a person touch with each visit” Molly and I have done our best to deliver that experience. Molly jokes with me that, Chris your a talker, your “annoying” but I can honestly say that every interaction that I have had with a customer or pup has been genuine and I truly do care. We had developed some great relations with our customers. Many of which I now consider friends.

The great part about Orlando is how much of a melting pot it is. You meet people from all over the country that come here to call Orlando home. Whether it be forever or a short while. That alone creates a town full of energy and excitement.

Molly and I have enjoyed our time in Orlando so very much and a part of me is absolutely devastated to leave. I love this town and all there is to do. We will for sure be back to visit. Often.

Welcome to the pack, Preacher!! 🐾

Preacher hailed a pet taxi this morning from Lake Mary to the Downtown Orlando area, and I was happy to give him a lift!

On the way to town we stopped for coffee, and he told me all about his adventurous weekend with his friends. Sounds like he had a great time! 🤣☕🐶
