It's that time of year again! Woofstock is returning to Yunker Park on Sunday, June 7th. You won't want to miss this free, paw-some afternoon of fun!

📷Woofstock's Social Media Star is a FREE contest you can enter your pet in for a chance to win a prize. To enter, submit your pet's photo to [email protected] by May 22. Voting of the 10 finalists will take place on our page from May 27-June 3. The winner will be announced at Woofstock.

This is Rocko from Healing Hearts Comfort Dogs helping the students at Joliet Catholic Academy in Joliet! 📚🎒

We are happy to introduce the newest member of JCA - Rocko, the Therapy Dog! 🐾

Rocko is a trained and certified facility therapy dog. He was trained by Healing Hearts Comfort Dogs. Healing Hearts is a non-profit organization that raises and trains working dogs to interact with individuals who are experiencing stress, trauma, and physical and/or emotional uncertainty in their lives. Research has proven that therapy dogs can be beneficial for students’ mental health by lowing stress levels and reducing anxiety. Having a therapy dog was made possible by the generous donations from the 2024 Jubilate Call for Cash.

Rocko will occasionally be visiting school throughout the rest of this school year until his training is complete. Together, Rocko and Mrs. Jackie Pullara have to pass the Canine Good Citizen Test before he will be able to come to school full-time. Once he is here full-time, Rocko will spend time in counseling, in the hallways, and in classrooms. We look forward to Rocko's sweet presence all around campus!
