We are a foster-based, non-profit, all breed animal rescue Together we are saving hundreds of animal lives annually.

Half-Way Home Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit organization that is made up of a group of individuals and volunteers. Along with the support and donations from individuals, veterinarians, and others we strive for the rescue and humane care and treatment of the animals in our community, state and throughout our country. 🚨 FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED FOR PEPPER 🚨

Pepper’s foster family is moving, and this handsome 2.5-year-old boy needs a new place to stay ASAP. He is available for foster OR adoption.

Everyone who meets Pepper instantly compliments his looks and his manners. He’s a sweet, relaxed, easygoing cat who simply loves being around people. You’ll usually find him hanging out nearby, keeping you company while he keeps an eye on the world outside. Window watching is one of his favorite hobbies — he’s even caught a mouse or two and loves feeling the breeze through an open window or screen door.

Pepper is wonderfully independent and low-maintenance. He doesn’t ask for much besides your company and a cozy place to lounge. He was raised in a home with young kids and other cats. This big, handsome guy patiently waits for mealtime, enjoys comfy furniture, and is not a counter surfer. He has been very loved in his foster home and is more than ready to find his forever family. ❤️
