This is Felix, an 11 month old Lab/hound mix. A good friend of mine who is a veterinarian behaviorist has been working with Felix and is looking for a permanent home for him. He is high energy, super sweet, and loves other dogs and people.

There has been a lot of talk recently about Xylitol in Peanut Butter. I’ll post a list of known brands that use it.

My recommendation is always use fresh ground PB if available at your Supermarket. No added Sugar and pure as it comes. In our area I know Festival and Basics in Janesville both have this product.

A lot of our boarders have now been coming to us for years. We are so lucky to develop close bonds with these pups and fall in love with them. Some of them even get to meet our son, who is exceptional with animals. We love that he has inherited the love of animals and learned to respect and behave around our guests.

I had to share a pic I caught yesterday that summed this up.

We are extremely lucky to get to care for so many great dogs!
