Maumee Bay Veterinary Hospital

10/21/2026

UPDATE AS OF 9:30am : we will open at 12pm today!

Due to the dense fog and chemical spill in North Toledo, we are going to open our office later this morning instead of our normal 8am.

We feel it is best for the safety of our staff, clients and patients to delay opening.
We plan to be open and running by 930am/10am.

Please call the office first before heading in for an appointment or pick up.
If our staff does not answer or you get an incliement weather message we have not been able to open yet.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Everyone stay safe! ❤️🐾

I’d like to take a moment to thank my amazing family during Veterinary Technician Week:

🐾 Spoil me like I pay the bills (I contribute emotional support, okay?)
🐾 Give me cuddles whenever I decide it’s time
🐾 Supply an endless stream of snacks (my love language)
🐾 Take me outside for my daily supervised adventures
🐾 Protect me from the scary things… like loud noises, suspicious trash bags, and basically anything that exists outside my comfort zone.

Honestly, I’m not sure how you all manage to get any work done with such an important employee on staff, but I appreciate you anyway. ❤️

Thanks for keeping me safe, loved, spoiled, and slightly overweight in snacks.

Feel free to put your thanks too in the comments!

Where’s your cat’s favorite hiding spot?

Tom’s favorite spot is apparently… the sink. 🛁
Because why sleep in a cozy bed when you can sit in a wet bowl?
