Feed Specialist / Mill Operator
We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Feed Specialist / Mill Operator to join our team!
This position is a hands-on role responsible for helping customers with their feed and animal nutrition needs while also operating and maintaining the feed mill quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with animals, agriculture, people and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment.
Responsibilities:
-Operate the feed mill and related equipment safely and efficiently
-Measure, mix, load, and package feed according to established formulas
-Load and unload feed, grain, and other products
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
-Monitor inventory and help keep feed and mill supplies stocked
-Assist customers with selecting feed and other animal nutrition products
-Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service
-Answer customer questions about feed, products, and general animal nutrition
-Help load customer purchases into vehicles when needed
-Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of mill equipment
-Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
-Complete other tasks as needed to help keep daily operations running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
-Dependable and responsible
-Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
-Strong attention to detail
-Able to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions accurately
-Comfortable lifting heavy bags and working on your feet throughout the day
-Willing to learn how to operate feed mill equipment
-Good communication and customer service skills
-Previous experience with feed, agriculture, livestock, or mill equipment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
-CDL not required but definitely a plus.
Physical Requirements:
This is a physically active position. The ability to regularly lift and move heavy bags and products, stand for extended periods, and work around dust, grain, and machinery is required.

Full time 8-4:30
Mon-Fri
Pay
$20-$30 /hr. depending on experience.
