I watched a woman at an ETS event have her horse back up through an obstacle on an absolutely loose line with almost no cues. I didn’t know that was possible. This is how it starts. So cool.

Has anyone participated or heard about Robbie Potter Horsemanship? Would there be interest in coming to a clinic here at Tamarind Ranch LLC with him?
I have received their host a clinic packet and am exploring. I’m thinking winter might be better since I have heated viewing areas and a covered arena. Please share your thoughts.

The month of May is packed with Robbie Potter Horsemanship clinics and learning opportunities, and we’d love to see you at one of them!

Tomorrow kicks off our 4-Day ABC’s of Riding Clinic at Little Creek Stables on May 14-17. This clinic is full for participants, but auditing is FREE, so if you’ve ever wanted to see what the ABC’s of Riding clinic is all about, come spend some time with us. This clinic has become a favorite for many riders because of the depth, clarity, and practical tools it offers both on the ground and under saddle.

Next up is “Capturing the Brain” on May 23 & 24 at Grandview Ranch RV Park Arena and Horse Boarding. This clinic focuses on helping riders better understand the horse mentally and emotionally while building softness, understanding, and connection through the process. Closing out May is our C**t Starting Clinic on May 28–31 at Jonesborough Equestrian Center. Join us for an immersive learning experience as multiple young horses are started from the ground up under Robbie Potter’s direct supervision. Auditors will be able to follow each colt’s progress in real time, ask questions, and gain insight into the process of building confidence, softness, and understanding from the very beginning. ETS Judge

I’m looking for more judges for my upcoming ETS events. If you or anyone know is interested please spread the word. General knowledge of horses and horsemanship is helpful but being a judge is absolutely trainable. They have a great online program.

Becoming a judge can be done online through webinars and online practice. We will host an in person practice also.

Join us on May 23rd for our Spring Schooling Derby!

We will be offering schooling rounds from Grasshopper through Training Level, each round is $25 dollars. We will also have concessions in the morning and throughout the afternoon.

Please come join the fun! Perfect for getting green horses and riders out in a fun, safe, and forgiving environment. All proceeds will go towards out future cross country course and to our in barn scholarship program to help more young riders show.
