🌞 MORNING SESSION | 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Groundwork & Rope Fundamentals

We'll start by building confidence and understanding from the ground up.

Topics include:
✔ Rope safety and handling
✔ Learning to swing and throw on the dummy
✔ Developing proper mechanics and timing
✔ Groundwork exercises
✔ Introducing horses to the rope from the ground

🤠 AFTERNOON SESSION | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Under Saddle Fundamentals

Take your skills into the saddle as we begin managing the rope while riding.

Topics include:
✔ Swinging a rope from horseback
✔ Managing coils and slack safely
✔ Maintaining control of your horse while handling a rope
✔ Building confidence under saddle
✔ Developing foundational skills for future cattle work

I could not be more proud of this brand new team! Less than two weeks of meeting and starting their partnership together and Huck ventured to town and rode in their first ranch rail class! The future is bright for these two. As usual the NW Reining Association was a supportive and welcoming environment!
