🌟 Jakey ✨ This handsome guy is a 2016, 16.1”, Dark Bay OTTB out of Super Saver, with the brain and personality of a Quarter Horse. Jockey Club name is Dakota. He was lightly raced from age 3 to 5. His owner was told he then worked cattle for a year in Arizona before being used for Western lessons and going to Renaissance Fairs. The current owner purchased him in March of 2024 and had him in training going over small jumps and riding out on trail. She is 67 and selling because she doesn’t ride enough to justify the cost of boarding. He has a good temperament, and is not a hot Thoroughbred type. He would be suitable for a kid or adult and has been recently used in lessons with a beginner rider. Jakey ties, trailers well, stands for the farrier, can be ridden alone on trails, and has good ground manners. He would be happiest staying with small jumps and riding out on trail. We love having him in the barn. (and hope to find someone local so he can stay in our program!) Asking mid fours. PPE from March 2024 is available.
