Well this is very interesting and worth a read!

An equine makes the low-pitched part of its whinny by vibrating its vocal cords—similar to how humans speak and sing—and the high-pitched part by whistling

SLEIPNIR ODIN’S EIGHT LEGGED STEED

Before thunder had a voice,
before the sagas were carved into memory,
there was Sleipnir.

Born of shapeshifting trickery and divine blood,
he was more than a horse
he was a doorway between worlds.

With eight legs like racing spears,
Sleipnir carried Odin across the sky,
and even down into Helheim,
through storm and shadow,
and over the very edges of reality itself.

The gods trusted him more than armies.
The dead feared the echo of his hooves.
Every leap shook the worlds.

Sleipnir wasn’t just a symbol of war
he embodied travel, transformation,
and the courage to step beyond what is safe or known.

He remains one of the most mysterious beings in Norse myth
a creature never meant to exist,
yet indispensable to a god.

And here’s a thought to chew on:
Some believe that Odin racing through the winter sky on Sleipnir
an eight legged, flying mount
may echo into the later tale of eight reindeer pulling a sleigh through the night.
Not proven history… a new story meant to make the old legends more palatable to children and make you happier the other one I downloaded yesterday and called instead of Royal match called Royal Kingdom and it’s the same thing but there’s a story the resemblance is chilling.

This is so Hilarious! So many times in my career I have sat in this situation! LMAO!

🌧️Rain check! Many parks and trails throughout OC Parks remain closed due to wet and muddy conditions.

While the sun may come out, some parks and trails remain closed after the rain concludes. Here’s why:

⚠️ Safety first: Muddy, slippery trails put visitors and staff at risk. Even emergency vehicles can get stuck!

🚳 Trail protection: Footprints, bike tires and hooves can damage trails and cause erosion when the ground is soft.

🥾 Recovery time: Staff need time to assess trail conditions and repair affected areas before reopening.

Thanks for your patience and help us keep our trails and visitors safe! 🌿

IMHO - An observation on what's happening... just the situation not breed or riding style. Am I the only one who sees that the horses in the center spooked the most. The horses on the ends stood and held their ground even with a few riders dismounting... My Thoughts - Could it be they only saw the danger and worse reaction from one side left or right eye/brain with an empty wall and/or a non spooking horse on the other. With less sensory overload they could listen to their riders and/or on their own over ride the fear and flight response. Where the horses in the middle saw the danger and spooking horses around them from both eyes/full brain which over whelmed their sensors/response and they bolted... Wonder what would have happening if they try it again with different horses would you get the same group reaction?
