⭐️Grant Recipient Update from The Dressage Foundation⭐️

2023 Gifted Memorial Fund for Adult Amateurs Grant: Diane Dougherty (TX, Region 9)

Diane used her grant funding to train with Debbie Bowman. After finishing her training, Diane sent us an update from her successful year in the show ring.

She said, “Increasing my ability to provide my horse with a more consistent and correct circle of aids has dramatically improved our harmony and performance. I completed the scores to receive my USDF bronze medal with distinction. We placed 5th in Third Level at our Regional Championships and 3rd in the Adult Amateur Dressage Equitation Finals.

“Dressage is my passion, and the generosity of TDF’s donors has allowed me to improve my ability to support and positively influence my horse as we continue up the levels. Thank you!”

We are grateful for the donors who make achievements like Diane’s possible!

I thoroughly enjoyed the recent VADA Fredericksburg clinic at Hillcrest Farm! The horses and riders were fun and inspiring. The hostess and facility were welcoming to all, and it was a beautiful fall day. Thank you so much Jenny Lamb for organizing and Sharnette Purks Atkinson for hosting.
