🎃🐾 Happy Halloween from all of us at Veterinary Out Patient! 🐾🎃

We hope your night is filled with fun, laughter, and just the right amount of spooky! 👻

Before the festivities begin, here are a few Halloween safety tips to help keep your furry friends safe and happy:

🍬 No candy for pets! Chocolate and anything containing xylitol can be dangerous — keep the sweets well out of reach.

🕯️ Watch those decorations — Pumpkins with candles, string lights, and fake cobwebs can be tempting (and risky) for curious paws.

🚪 Be careful with open doors — Trick-or-treaters mean lots of doorbell rings and chances for pets to slip outside.

👻 Create a calm space — The noise and costumes can be scary for pets. Give them a quiet room or comfy crate to relax in.

🐶🐱 Costumes are optional — If your pet doesn’t enjoy dressing up, a festive bandana is more than enough!

Wishing you and your pets a safe, happy, and pawsitively fun Halloween! 🧡🐾

🐾✨ World Rabies Day – Protecting Pets & People ✨🐾
Brought to you by Veterinary Out Patient Clinic 💙🐾

Q: What is rabies?
A: Rabies is a deadly virus that affects the brain and nervous system of mammals, including dogs, cats, wildlife, and even people.

Q: How is rabies spread?
A: Most often through the bite or scratch of an infected animal.

Q: Can rabies be prevented?
A: YES! Vaccinating your pets is the most effective way to keep them, and your family, safe.

Q: Do pets need rabies vaccines?
A: Absolutely. We make sure pets start their rabies protection with the appropriate vaccine, and we recommend that owners continue with boosters as directed by their veterinarian. 💉🐶🐱

Q: Why is this important?
A: Because rabies is almost always fatal once symptoms appear, but it is 100% preventable with vaccination. Protecting our pets protects us too.

On World Rabies Day, let’s work together to keep our pets and communities safe. 💕🐾

🐾💉 Keep your furry friends happy, healthy, and protected!

Vaccines are one of the most important tools in preventing serious diseases in dogs and cats. They help protect against:
✔️ Rabies
✔️ Parvovirus
✔️ Distemper
✔️ Leptospirosis
✔️ Feline leukemia and more

Leptospirosis is a serious bacterial disease that can affect both pets and humans, making vaccination even more important.

Regular vaccinations not only safeguard your pet’s health but also help protect your family and community from preventable diseases.

At Veterinary Out-Patient Clinic, we’re here to guide you on the right vaccine schedule for your pet’s age, lifestyle, and health needs.

📞 Call us today at 714-744-8995 to schedule your pet’s vaccination and keep those tails wagging! 🐶🐱❤️

Today we celebrate our loyal companions, our healers, our adventure buddies, and our family. 💕 From wagging tails to soulful eyes, dogs bring unconditional love and joy into our lives every single day.

Give your pup an extra hug today, a belly rub, or a treat (or two 😉) and let’s celebrate all the ways they make life better.

🔥🌡️ It’s HOT out there—don’t forget about your pets! 🐶🐾🐱

With temperatures soaring, our furry friends are at serious risk for heatstroke, burned paw pads, and dehydration. Remember:

✅ NEVER leave pets in parked cars—even with the windows cracked, it can become deadly in minutes.
✅ Walk early or late to avoid hot pavement that can burn paws.
✅ Provide shade and plenty of fresh water if your pets are outside.
✅ Know the signs of heatstroke: excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, or collapse.

Let’s keep our companions safe, cool, and healthy during this summer heatwave. They depend on us. ❤️

🇺🇸🎆 Happy 4th of July! 🎆🇺🇸

Wishing everyone a fun and safe Independence Day! We are closed today so that our staff can celebrate.

Please remember — fireworks may be exciting for us, but they can be terrifying for our pets.

🐶🐱 Keep your animals safe:
✔️ Bring them indoors
✔️ Close windows & curtains
✔️ Play calming music or turn on the TV

Let’s celebrate responsibly — for their sake too. ❤️🐾
