🐾 Shedding season is HERE 🐾

If your dog suddenly seems like they’re leaving fur everywhere… you’re not alone 😅

A lot of pet parents are surprised to learn that dogs with compacted coats can actually appear to “shed less” because all that loose undercoat gets trapped inside the coat instead of falling out naturally.

During a de-shed treatment, we remove all that trapped hair and compacted undercoat so the skin and coat can breathe again ✨

This can sometimes cause TEMPORARY extra shedding at home after the appointment because the coat is finally able to release hair normally again.

Just a friendly update from us at Splash N Dash 💛

We’ve recently had an increase in no-shows and last minute ghosting for grooming appointments. Unfortunately, when an appointment is missed without notice, it costs our team both time and income, while also preventing another client from booking that spot.

Because of this, we will be getting stricter with appointment confirmations moving forward.

• Clients will be required to confirm their appointment through the Square confirmation message.
• If we do not receive a confirmation, we will follow up with a call/text.
• If we are unable to reach you or receive confirmation, the appointment may be canceled to open the spot for another client.

We completely understand that life happens, and we truly appreciate everyone who communicates with us if plans change. Thank you for understanding and supporting our small business and team 🐾

A little shampoo tip for our Splash N Dash fam 🫧🐶

We’ve had a few people wonder why our shampoo looks more “watery” or doesn’t instantly create a ton of bubbles, so I wanted to show how to use it properly! Our shampoos are professional concentrated formulas that we dilute with water before use this helps them rinse better, spread evenly through your dog’s coat, and keeps them safe and gentle for your pup’s skin. ✨

The key is using enough product and really working it into the coat with water to activate the lather. Once you do that, it foams up beautifully! 🛁

We buy our shampoos by the gallon in concentrated form so we can provide high quality products while keeping our washes affordable for everyone. 💙
