The first eight weeks of a puppy's life shape everything that comes after. How they respond to strangers. How they handle new sounds. Whether they are confident or anxious in unfamiliar spaces. Early socialization is not a bonus feature - it is a foundation. Every puppy from our program is handled daily from birth, exposed to household sounds and experiences, and given the kind of start that produces a dog who is genuinely easy to live with. That is not luck. That is intention

More families are joining the waitlist for our first Longhaired German Shepherd litter every week. Reese and Grizz are both vet checked, cleared, and exactly the kind of confident, loyal temperament we want every puppy in this program to carry forward. Litter timing details are still being finalized and will be shared as soon as they are confirmed. If you have been on the fence, this is the time to get your application in.

You planned the trip. The family is ready. And then you remember - what about the dog. That is where we come in. Weekend boarding at Bow Wow Luau means your dog spends the weekend in a real home with real people who genuinely care - not a kennel that is only half-staffed on a Saturday. Small group, max six dogs, full attention every day including weekends. Go enjoy your trip. We have got this.

DM us to check weekend availability - we book out fast.

Senior dogs are not less work. They are different work - and they deserve caregivers who understand that. Slower walks, softer spaces, a little more patience, and a whole lot of observation.

At Bow Wow Luau, we adjust our care to match the dog in front of us - not the other way around. If you have a senior dog and you have been nervous about boarding them, come talk to us. We get it.

We could take more dogs. We choose not to.
At six dogs max, we know every dog's name, every dog's mood, and every dog's quirk. We notice when one is eating less. We notice when one needs five more minutes outside. We notice the things that only get noticed when the number is small enough to actually pay attention. That is not a marketing line. It is a deliberate choice we make every time we turn away a booking to protect the quality of care for the dogs already here.

DM us to get on the list - we keep it small on purpose.

Not every dog has a perfect first day. Some need a few hours. Some need a full day to relax into it. Here is exactly what we do when a dog is having a rough time adjusting - and why it matters that the person watching your dog actually knows how to read one.
