🐾 Love Dogs? Come Meet Your People! 🐾

Have you ever thought about joining a dog club but weren’t sure where to start?

The Greater Orange Park Dog Club welcomes anyone who loves dogs—whether you’re involved in conformation, obedience, rally, agility, companion events, breeding, rescue, or simply enjoy spending time with fellow dog enthusiasts.

Join us for our annual Dog Gone Days gathering on Monday, July 13 at 6:00 p.m. It’s a relaxed evening of food, fellowship, and fun, and a great opportunity to learn more about our club and meet members who share your passion for dogs.

The club will provide Sonny’s BBQ, cole slaw, and drinks, and members will be bringing their favorite appetizers, side dishes, and desserts.

Whether you’re a longtime exhibitor, a new dog owner, or someone who simply enjoys being around dogs, we’d love to meet you!

🐶 Come for the food. Stay for the friendships. Discover what makes the Greater Orange Park Dog Club such a special community.

Researchers estimate that dogs are as bright as a 2-year-old human. However, some breeds stand out amongst the pack.

Stanley Coren, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia, a renowned dog researcher, and the author of “The Intelligence of Dogs: Canine Consciousness and Capabilities,” defines three ways to measure dog intelligence: Instinct, adaptive problem-solving, and school learning.

🐾✨ A Day of Discovering Dogs at the Ancient City Classic! ✨🐾

One of the best parts of today’s show was meeting so many incredible breeds you don’t see every day. From familiar favorites to lesser-known companions, each dog brought its own personality, purpose, and history into the ring.

Dog shows are a wonderful opportunity to learn about breeds people may not often encounter and to appreciate the diversity, beauty, and unique traits that make every breed.

Thank you to all the exhibitors who share their passion, knowledge, and amazing dogs with spectators throughout the weekend!

If you haven’t visited yet, there’s still time to come out and experience the Ancient City Classic! You never know which new favorite breed you’ll discover. 🐶💙
