SOPHIE is a 1-year-old, 13 pound Yorkie mix who was surrendered because her owner can no longer care for her.

SOPHIE has a calm, easygoing personality and a sweet nature that makes her easy to love. She is affectionate, cuddly, and enjoys being close to her people. She is so quiet that you sometimes forget she is there until she follows you to your next room. She likes to keep an eye on her people, is happiest when she can be nearby, and likes to be included in her person's daily activities. She has a little bit of separation anxiety and does not like spending much time alone.

SOPHIE was in a home with other dogs and is good with other dogs. We think that she could be an only dog as long as she doesn't spend too much time alone. Her experience with cats and kids is unknown, although her foster mom believes she should do well with older kids.

SOPHIE is housebroken and leash trained and enjoys going for walks. At night, she sleeps in the big bed with her family, right where she wants to be. ❤️

SOPHIE is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration.

HANK is an 18 month old, 13.5 pound Terrier mix who was found as a stray. When no one came for him, his finder reached out to see if we could take him in to find him a new home.

HANK is full of personality, energy, and affection. He is a funny little guy who can go from cuddling in your lap one minute to finding some sort of puppy mischief the next. He is very affectionate, loves to give kisses, and once he trusts you, he becomes extremely loyal and protective of his people. He loves attention, and would do best with a family that enjoys an active, involved little companion.

HANK does well with other dogs and would be happiest in a home with another playful canine companion, although he could potentially be an only dog with enough attention and activity. His foster is unsure how he would do with cats. He can be possessive if you try to take food or a toy away from him quickly, so we think he would be best in a child-free home or with older kids. He is social, outgoing, and not particularly shy or skittish.

HANK is housebroken and leash trained. He does struggle with some separation anxiety, so he would do best in a home where someone is around often. He loves toys and enjoys staying busy. A fenced yard is required for this active boy. At night, HANK sleeps in bed with his foster family.

🚨 Ladybug update… and our hearts are hurting a little for this sweet girl 💔🐞

Ladybug recently had her very first meet and greet, and we were truly hopeful this might be her chance. She showed up exactly as she always does—gentle, sweet, and so ready to love. For a moment, it felt like her story was finally turning a corner.

But sometimes life changes quickly. The adopters’ circumstances shifted, and they made the difficult decision that it just isn’t the right time to bring a dog into their home. Ladybug is still with us, still waiting, still hoping… and sadly, she just isn’t getting much attention.

It’s hard to understand how a dog like this keeps getting overlooked. Ladybug is young, around 10–12 months old, dog friendly, affectionate, and full of quiet sweetness. She doesn’t ask for much—just a chance to belong somewhere and be loved for good.

Please help us get her seen. Even a simple like on this post helps push her out to more people who might be her perfect match.
